They just brought out the new PDF brochure and it's still wrong. I'd get fired for being this incompetent I my job... Especially twice

My dealer said they had an allocation of 50 and had sold about 40. They aren't allowed to discount at all and the sales of the Kodiaq don't count towards their targets either. Harsh. I tried a 2.0 TDi 4x4 Edition DSG with a load of extras in dark grey. Very nice.

Good thinking Batman. If i add Park Assist, it greys out the front sensors. I can sleep easier now :-)

exactly, so I guess / hope it would work as a parking sensor on its own without the auto parking part. My theory is another £300 for park assist isn't bad considering I have to pay for front sensors anyway.

I've just partly answered my own question looking at the config. To add area view, you also have to add park assist or front sensors so my plan is somewhat scuppered! Maybe Park Assist also includes front sensors.

I know I want front sensors so, whichever model I go for, I'll need to add them... or something. But here's the question(s): Do I get front sensors if I go for Park Assist? Or if I go for area view will that let me see out the front or have front parking sensors built in? Any other bright ideas? I'm thinking if i have to pay £350 for front sensors, why not spend a bit more and get something else also useful. I drove a 2.0 TDI 4x4 DSG Edition with bags of extras yesterday and it had front and rear cameras / area view. Not sure if this is the trailer assist version. Thanks guys

Dealer on Friday said there's some new colours coming so the others are discontinued. Not sure how long until they are back. I reckon I'll go quartz grey anyway now

Got a reply from the social team on Facebook Hi Gary, We're sorry to disappoint. Our factory team determines the available options, and if certain colours have been removed from the configurator, it does mean that they are no longer options for ordering. Best, ŠKODA UK Doesn't say they know it has but almost guessing that's why. I suspect they're right but doesn't make much sense when they've had the red in all the brochures for the Sportline and I've seen plenty of Kodiaqs in red as demo / press vehicles. You'd think they'd think of this if they knew they were discontinuing. Shame as I love the SL in red :-(

Strange. You can get an Octy and Rapid in red but not Superb or Kodiaq. I'm going to a dealer Friday so will ask what they know.

Anyone noticed red has gone from the Skoda configurator? I think others may have too. No red for the Superb nor Kodiaq anymore. Have they run out?

My plan is hold onto my 5 series a few more months and then lease over 3 years. The best deals I found were Ling but prices shot up this week. When they first went up it was diesel only and a 3+35 7 seater SE 2.0TDI with DSG was about £302 I think. I was looking at a 4x4 manual or maybe SEL for about £320. Now it seems I have to get a 1.4 petrol or 4+47 for similar monthly. Can't tell if there's any 4x4 either. Has anyone else noticed this?
