  1. Thanks very much. I popped along to my local dealer again today, by now I think they are getting fed up with me! They know the deal, I laid the cards on the table that I will be sourcing through LEX. I also advised my intention to purchase after the term so it makes sense to start that relationship now. I am pretty sure I have pinned down the following. Superb 2.0 TDI 150 SE L Exec (No add blue, insurance cheaper for Wife at end of lease term). Business Grey (I looked at a petrol blue today and its just not doing it for me despite being a lovely colour) Integrated tow bar Heated front screen and nozzles (though poor report on the nozzles over 4 years its nothing). LED package plus for that internal bling KESSY Front parking sensor in addition to the standard rear. Spare non space saver steel wheel, (I thought I needed a variable boot floor for this option but it seems OK with the lease company if I don't check this £150 option, so I will stick with this). At this moment I am sticking with 18" Zenith wheels. I actually think they suit the angular lines of the car. I would love 19" Sirius or Phoenix for pure looks but a) my allowance does not stretch with the other extras, b.) when it comes to tyre replacement its a lot more money, but I also have c) the option to purchase a set of rims whenever I like so it makes sense to load up with build extras that cannot be added at a later date. I am steering away from DSG due to fuel economy concerns. I am departing a Focus Econetic that was a wise purchase due to economy and monthly cost at the time. Prior to that I had an 09 Mondeo Titanium and absolutely loved that car. I covered some regular long journeys and it just ate up the miles. Changes at work means the new car won't get such a hard life so deemed it worth investing in to purchase. With all that in mind, of course I could change my mind but I am sure I have thought about it enough to stick with that. Any informed advice much appreciated.
  2. Glad to know I am not the only one finding it tough to choose the colour. Good job we have so little to choose from in the UK. I was all set for business grey Superb Estate SE L Exec but her Majesty chirped in liking Petrol Blue. I am undecided and will take a trip to my local dealer on a dry bright day to see what floats my boat. It would be nice to see some pics Starfighter when it's yours.
  3. Hi, new to the site and been reading now for a while whilst thoroughly in the decision stage. So very glad that I decided to look at the Skoda Superb as my next company car. I have the option of buying at the end of my term and hence this has impacted on my final choice as my Wife's car will be up for replacement by then. I must say that the site has been an invaluable source of information and I am sure I will be chipping into many of topics on the forum. I will be test driving the SE L EXEC in a few weeks and look forward to having some first hand experience of what seems to be a fantastic car. Order will follow directly after.
