  1. I noticed exactly the same issue but rather than install those ugly after-market deflectors I just crack the rear window by about an inch. No more buffeting & zero cost
  2. Yes, they are telling you fibs! Ask them to show you the book price for the job (request a print out) which shows that the total including supply & fit is £212. Also absolute piffle about having to remove the headlining, the template allows the holes to be drilled through the roof in the correct place to line up with the threaded holes underneath. Was going to have it done myself but I actually prefer the look without & luckily they're not a necessity for me. Good luck, Grampa.
  3. One of the first jobs on Smurf 2013 will be to upgrade the headlights. Looking to fit 35W Xenon 5000k kit for dipped beam & Ring Xenon 130% main beam. Headlights look like this.... Am I right in thinking that this is a projector type and uses 2 x H7, one for main & one for dipped? Probably lots more questions to come Thanks as always, Grampa.
  4. Little blue wagon collected, thankfully all the same colour. Time for a few modifications
  5. Hi Jon, many thanks for the in depth advise, much appreciated. Spoke to Skoda UK & the dealer in question earlier today, hoping for a positive resolution by early next week. Watch this space!
  6. Decided it was time for a change, had never even heard of a Roomster, saw one, weighed up the pro's & con's (far more pro's), proud owner of a 2013 SE 1.2tsi 85. Now the help bit! Agreed to buy from main dealer Jan 9th, went to collect my 15k mile immaculate wagon Jan 16th only to find they'd pranged it (front offside bumper & offside rear quarter and door). Very apologetic & promised to repair to former immaculate state. Returned vehicle to them Jan 20th and was asked to collect Jan 24th. On collection noticed they'd made a good job of the actual repair, but sadly sprayed it a completely different shade of blue to the rest of the car. Pointed out this small error & refused to accept. Roomster currently undergoing repair number 2, due for return next Monday Jan 30th. So, where do I stand? If I'm happy with the second repair all well and good, but if I don't feel it's in the condition that it was sold to me what do I do next? They can't keep sending it back hoping to get it right. Any suggestions (lawful) would be greatly appreciated. Calling the CAB & Skoda UK tomorrow for advise. Many thanks in advance P.S Slowly working my way through the Forum posts, very informative to a new owner.
