  1. Yes, thanks. We already decided to get a new belt fitted.
  2. Thanks to all replys, all helpful and it will be done very soon Thanks
  3. Hi, my wife got a call from the local Skoda garage telling her the cambelt and brake fluid would need changing on her 2015 Yeti 1.4 petrol. Whilst it is 5 years old its only done 26k. Brake fluid is an easy one but who thinks cambelt is vital at this point? How much does anyone think the cost of the job would be, roughly?
  4. Thanks for the suggestion. I've just been and pulled and pushed the are box pipe and theres no noise, but ill give it some wd40 and see what happens. Thanks
  5. Thanks for that, I would love to know what they say on the service. I'm going to take ours in before the warranty runs out in August. Interestingly, ours hardly does it at all when my wife is driving?
  6. I was afraid of visiting the dealer with it incase they started tearing it apart and not finding anything! It does sound like a ratchet clicking, as you pull away, like turning from a junction quickly. I thought I'd ask on here before going to the dealer and leaving it with them
  7. Yes it is until August so I will do that soon, thanks
  8. Thanks, Yes i thought it sounded like that but with about 20k miles I thought maybe it was a built-in fault that many other owners had experienced
  9. Our 2015 Yeti (2wd Petrol DSG) seems to make a noise as you pull away quickly, especially when turning at the same time. Anybody had similar noise, sounds like a driveshaft clicking? thanks
  10. Thanks Rick, do you have the dedicated wiring for the electrics?
  11. Thanks Coops, but what about when a trailer is not connected, does the tow ball itself interfere with the sensors?
  12. Hi, I need a towbar on my 2015 Yeti 1.2 tsi se and am not sure which type to get. Will the reverse sensors be triggered by a fixed flange towbar or a swan neck? Or both? Do I really need the dedicated wiring (costs up to £145 extra!) who has any experience with this please? TIA
  13. I'm looking at a 2007 so it could be either? that's why I'm wondering what the physical differences are
