They will fit straight on 18s fill the arch alot better even thou they are abit harder on the road

Yeah they should fit i have 9jx18 all round on my superb and 235 40 18 tyres on them. Just double check the off set of the wheels

Has anybody any experience with these 2.5 v6 bdg engine code. Had it on vag com today to check fuel pump timing as car is idling low at 719rpm plus gives a puff of smoke when starting cold. So far have changed all glow plugs, timing kit and water pump, full service plus egr and inlet manifols has been cleaned out. Theres no fault codes stored. Any ideas what could be causing the low idle and smoke

Hi was wondering if anybody could help me. I am trying to find my air inlet temperature sensor on my 2.5 v6 tdi superb 2005 model. Every motorfactors and local.dealers have told me there are 4/5 diffrent types. Could anybody tell me where it is in these engines or any pics of it. I had it on a diagnostic and it came up permenant fault with the IAT sensor. Any help would be appreciated

I am hoping to fit the upgraded part but wasnt expecting it to be so dear and i will be fitting it myself. It does look like a striping match but while i am there i will clean the egr and intake manifold so kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Looks like am going to have to pay the dealers price unfortunitaly

Hi has anyone changed a crankcase breather filter on a 2.5 v6 superb. I am confident that mine needs changed as there is a good amount of pressure building up when the oil cap is removed and the car foes give off some white smoke when idling. I have seen this part number as an upgrade to the old filters 059103464B. But when i called the dealers they are wanting nearly £100 for this which i think is pretty expensive for a filter. Does anybody know where i could get one cheaper as all motor factors in my area are all saying its a dealer part. Im from northern ireland by the way. Thanks in advance

Cheers crc definitly a good guide to get it sorted will hopefully be going out next week to get it put on a vag com because i just noticed the day its idling slightly lower than it should aswel

Its worth a try as the oil isnt to dear and it is very easy done on these thats where i thought i would start just to see if it helps but didnt do much for mine Im from Derry are you from N.I

Hi crc thank for the reply. I will be getting it checked on vcds within the next few weeks when i get a chance. The past 2 mornings it has started no problem since the belt has been done although it hasnt been that cold out so could just be coincidence. Will vcds bring up a faulty temperature sender. The stiffness between first and second doesnt happen all the time on mine either. I changed the oil in the gearbox but it didnt make much diffrence there was no metal bits in the oil either so i dont think the box is the problem. I will put the car up on a ramp in the next few days and try grease up the linkage to see if that helps (wishfull thinking at this point)
