Hi all, new to this forum. Been reading the threads for a while now as have an Octavia 1.9tdi 2008. Ive had the same fault as others, ie No Blower fan No screenwash to front No screenwash or wiper to rear. Checked all fuses and all good. Called a few garages and all 'need to have a look'. Everything went off one morning then came on mid journey to work. Fine for 2 weeks and then off again. Ive looked online but cant find exactally what this so called 'X relief relay', a part number or where it is located. I have however, stripped down my dash under the steering wheel (folowing a different thread off here) and came accross the bank of relays. Theres about 8 on mine, luckily there was 2 of each different one. So i just swapped 2 at a time to see what worked and didnt when I turned the ignition on. Hey presto, a faulty relay. Part number: 1k0 951 253a 460 on the top. New one cost me £16 and all sorted. Eventually. Hope this helps someone out there as its been driving me mad for the past 5 days!!! Oscaroo7

Hi, sorry to jump on this post. Having same problem as some others regarding washer and heater blower and rear wiper not working. Have read the other threads on hear regarding 'x releif relay'. Is this relay pictured above? Thanks
