Hi Can anyone tell me what the ride is like on a sportline. I have a VRS on 18s and I don't enjoy the ride in it. Admittedly, it is an old car now, but it is just too firm and doesn't soak up all the potholes around me. Views appreciated. Chris

Tha Thanks for the comments and the ones above. I would prefer the L&K. I just can't live with the cream interior. I do have a budget of 20k. So I can go higher. I am not sure a sportline fits the bill, as I live rurally and I am surrounded by pot holes, so a lower car with larger alloys isn't a preference for me. I take the point about buying from Skoda approved though.

Good evening I am after a 280. Prefer an L&K, but hard to track down. I have spotted a SL Exec - 2017 plate with 70k Mileage, £14.2K price. It has had one owner and according to the add, a full dealership history. I am not overly worried about the mileage as long as it has been well looked after. I also do very few miles (working from home) and will only really use it for the family holidays, occasional business trips. We have an electric car for the other weekly family trips. I have asked about it's previous use, was it a taxi/fleet vehicle etc... However I wondered if you could tell me what other questions I should be asking? Thanks in advance Chris

The 2016 LK I have seen is just under 19k with 50 k on the clock. Does this seem a little steep?

Hi, actually the dealer with the 2016 L&k has just confirmed it does have DCC. So that is a big tick. I live rurally with some poor roads, so big alloys and low ride isn't great for me. Will check this one out. Thanks for all your replies.

Nope, the 2016 one I was just looking at doesnt have DCC. Must have been standard in later years.

Yes, choice is limited. I would be happy with a L&K as well, just even harder to find. I spotted a 2016 model, but I am not sure it has the DCC that far back?

They do sound like fab cars. Mine will do low mileage as commutes are minimal and it will be the family load lugger. Kids plus large dog. I just want the ride to be comfortable. My Octy is too firm. How's the ride on yours compared to the Octy?

Hi, I'm after a 280 estate. Either Sportline or L&K. Ideally a few years old and max 23k. Ideally it would have DSC. Can anyone tell me if it is a essential extra? I'll be moving from a VRS Octy? Thanks loads. Chris

Hi Ideally yes, however having read through a number of posts ad=nd articles to looks as though they won't be helpful. My next step is to look at having a rollback done on the software to pre-fix. Its so annoying.

Hi I can say I have now contacted Skoda to ask for a fix. I do not believe this is a fault of wifes driving style. We owned the car doing the same drives for 12 months before the emmissions recall and had no issues, not once. I will also look into have the software re-mapped, could anyone recommend a company please? Chris

Hi mrgf - I'd accept that if the car had this issue prior to the re-call. It didn't. I will dig out the paperwork shortly to look at the details on the re-call.

Hi Its the Scout 1.6tdi. It has around 80k miles on the clock. Roughly 7000 miles a year. School runs and runs to work 8 miles mainly. I believe it was an emissions recall early in the year. Hope this helps Chris

Hi My wife has a 2011 Skoda diesel. She did the recall from skoda. Eversince the DPF light comes on once or twice a month. It has never come on in the year before. Any suggestions, we will contact the garage, but having a read through internet posts this doesn't seem to get anywhere. ?

Hi I have a 2008 Mk 2. The radio reception is awful on FM and doesn't pick up MW at all. Any ideas of a fix or is it garage job? Help appreciated Chris

Afternoon. I am looking to change the headunit on my 08 Octy VRS. It is standard at present. I would like DAB and Bluetooth. Budget isn't huge. Any recommendations, are the Android ones on eBay any good? Thanks for your help
