  1. Are you sure the very first bit is right? "Skoda Yeti with separate DRL" sounds like a pre-facelift model to me. On your '15 the DRLs are integrated into the main headlights - not separate.
  2. That seems to differ with different models. My previous Yeti, a '14 1.4TSI-122, was like yours. My present one though - '16 1.4TSI-125, works like your Superb did (after activating the cruise control on the central display).
  3. The idea that this should show the actual speed is incorrect, unfortunately. The modification works great and is really useful, but the accuracy is no better than the analog speedo.
  4. Certainly. My speedo shows 4-5% too high, regardless of speed.
  5. I have it enabled in my Yeti and although inaccurate I find it EXTREMELY helpful. Easily done with OBDeleven, though I have heard it said that depending on which engine type you have, it might not work due to ECU differences.
  6. I too have the Amundsen MIB2 ('16 Yeti) but never ever use the built in sat nav as Waze via Android Auto does the job infinitely better.
  7. Mine gets really dirty - not sure why yours stays cleaner.
  8. It boggles the mind why you would consider it unwanted. When the front wipers are running constantly it does a single sweep every now and then at just the right intervals, and when the fronts are on and you put it in reverse it does a single swipe. Both are things you would have done manually anyways... It's brilliant!
  9. Well, that's easily achieved by turning off the auto function of the rear wiper.

Strange - the codes are still sold by Skoda here in Sweden (but the dealers are really ignorant in this matter). Ask someplace else just to be sure!
  11. Hill hold works nicely on my Yeti without off road button. But it has adaptive HIDs - which also of course have some sort of position sensoring.
  12. Buying a car in Romania, when moving to Spain? That's a _really_ long drive just to fetch a 9 year old used car. Hardly worth it if you ask me.
  13. AFAIK, only the 1.2 TSI lacks this ability - but of course I could be wrong.
  14. Control unit number 17, adaptations, "GRA High in display" I'm using OBDeleven, but as I understand it the same long coding and adaptation options should be available regardless of Carista, OBDeleven or VCDS.
  15. The option to show the cruise control setting in numbers (à la Golf, Seat etc) is also available with Carista/OBDeleven.
  16. Have you considered keeping the stock unit, and simply enabling Android Auto/Apple Carplay? I have the MIB2 satnav in my car, but I never use it simply because Waze via Android Auto is vastly superior to it in every way.
  17. WhatsApp isn't available thru AA. If you press the little "play" icon next to the incoming message, it's read out loud rather than you having to read it. Or you can do the same by voice command. I have built in satnav - the Amundsen MIB2 - and I find Waze superior to it in every way. From finding/entering addresses thru choosing a route to estimating arrival times and speed camera warnings along the way. Best thing about the Waze speed camera warnings - it shows all cameras at all times, but only sounds an audio alert if you're actually exceeding the speed limit.
  18. That's likely because of your phone, it's not a general Android Auto idiosyncrasy. Works perfectly fine using my OnePlus 6, at least!

Well, the cam transmission failures on the cars with the chain drive started within the first year and very few miles, for the unfortunate souls (quite many) that had them. I have yet to hear of a single cam transmission failure on the belt driven models! Recently traded my old 1.4TSI-122 (with the chain) for a newer 1.4TSI-125 (with the belt). Not out of fear, the old one was running fine without scary noises - but I'd be lying if I didn't say I feel a lot more at ease now with the better engine in my car.

No, what I meant was ALL 1.2TSIs with chains have issues, even after the 2012 upgrade. They aren't really safe buys until they get the belt drive.

    You mean pre 2015.

    Apple Carplay

You get quite a bit more than just your "phone on a screen", at least with Android Auto (not an Apple person myself). Like voice control that actually works well, as compared to the absolute joke that's fitted as standard.

    Warning ?

At least on the Swedish market, "service" and "inspection" are two different things. The "inspection" has to do with things like corrosion warranty - they do an extensive check of the general condition of bodywork etc.
