Is this not just the same engine with a different map? If it is then Skoda need a proper petrol head in the Fabia tuning area, not granny gum drops who used to work at the Co-op

Ok so I have ordered the Leon FR 1.5 DSG, they have some cracking deals on at the minute and for only £7 more a month than what i would have been paying for a Fabia Monte DSG with a few extras I have a whole lot more car IMO it comes standard with bells, whistles, trumpets the lot. Should be here for Christmas

Well the order books open when we placed it however we cancelled it. The Karoq lead time is ridiculous as well.

It will be the Leon FR 1.5 DSG I will go for. And we are not too sure yet on the other as we have yet to test drive the Ateca. Our dealer lost the order for a Karoq SEL DSG.

Very true but hopefully the SEAT dealership will have technicians rather than monkeys maintaining the vehicles.

Seriously!? That is interesting and something to keep in mind, I am set the Leon at the minute and the Arona or Ateca for the other half.

Sorry to say I have cancelled my order. I will not be staying with Skoda. I won't go in to depth but my family have encountered several problems throughout our ownership. Just cancelled around £45K of orders as the final nail in the coffin happened at the weekend. I am staying with the VAG group however and most likely heading over to SEAT. Farewell to you all and I may still drop by to see what's going on.

This along with other problems experienced has caused us to cancel over £45K worth of orders for two new cars.

Can't believe I am reading this now, had ours in the weekend for MOT and an unplanned software update. Only to find out the update has failed and now the car will not even start! I am not sure if its professionals or monkeys they have in the service department but I may take a pack of bananas when they finally get the car running again just in case.

Is that SEL or Monte?

I would of said so yes, a delivery charge was not mentioned on my recent order so it must be built in the OTR price

It is certainly the car that needs to be registered.

It looks even better in the metal, that is the Monte so it has the black surround as opposed to chrome but this gives it a wide mouth more aggressive look IMO. The new Monte seats are really comfy although it the first I have had a sit in, they have smooth leather bolster now. I was slightly disappointed to discover the faux exhausts each side in the rear diffuser however they are very well done, in comparison to some I have seen on SEAT Ibiza FR models that have chrome surrounds on them which look a little tacky IMO and easily notice, and there are some even worse by the likes of Hyundai and Peugeot. If Skoda had an option to have them piped in though I would of chosen it - each to there own though I guess. It will look better with plates on too that's for sure.

Yep got the sports suspension too amongst a few other bits. I test drove a Monte with 17's and sports suspension and could feel a real good difference compared to my car without the sports suspension and 17's Can't wait now should be here by mid to late December.

Ordered today with 17s, 18's a step too far I reckon

New combi that I viewed today.

Order placed today. Monte Carlo Hatch Moon white Keyless start 17" Torino alloys Light and rain sensors Sports suspension Black interior and console They had a combi in the show room today already as well.

I can say that a standard generic wheelchair like this one is a real struggle in the hatch, you certainly have to remove the foot rests and even then it's difficult. The one I used didn't have folding handles I don't know if they do these days. You will need an estate or a more compact when folded wheelchair if you prefer the hatch.
