quick follow-up, never found any movement in the diff bearings, and went ahead and replace the entire transmission with another one. just easier -
So, i need some help with my Fabia Mk1 -03 that destroys speed sensors for some reason. The Fabia in question is a 1.4L 100hp (BBZ), 5-speed manual (GRY / 02T300052PX)?, built 2002.09 (according to what i could find). The speedo gave up, pulled out the old speed sensor, fysically broken, bought a new one, put it in, speedo worked again. . . for about 3.2Km, then gave out again, pulled the new sensor out, and physically broken that aswell.
