  1. Sorry didn't realise I didn't have my location up but i'm in Manchester
  2. Just had a quote from Claybank for a 60k Service and cambelt change!
  3. Thanks for the replies people, will contact the dealer and see what can be done!
  4. Thanks for the reply mate, Yes the switch is on the right place its deffo something failed i'm not getting my 'your lights are still on you numpty' audiable warning either!
  5. Bought my car from here, Sales staff great, serviced the car (including tracking) and let me do some 'extended' test drives in it. Like others have said aftersales does sometimes let them down, they are pricey and I had the excess polish treatment however I got a new micra for a C/Car which I was more than happy with. Having spent sometime in their 'new' workshop up the road it seems things are on the up but as with everything it takes time. This place has come a long way from being a little car dealers to a 'large' franchisee.
  6. No - On 'Normal' cars when you open the door it operates a pressure switch which turns the interior light on (like a fridge) its usually situated near to the hinges on the door and usually a little black sticky out thing. I'm sure this has broke as when I open the door the light doesn't come on etc etc.
  7. Wardy - Eccles in Good old crime free Salford Fish - The Air ambulance is based at Blackpool (Squires Gate) but shares refuelling facilities with GM Police at Barton so is sometimes there if its done a job in this area. Thanks for the welcome.
  8. ...Me! I'm the proud owner of bright red Fabia 1.9 SDi (couldn't pull the skin off a rice puddin but I love it) I'm a Paramedic for the North West Ambulance Service and also a part time HGV driver (Hobby like). Stumbled across the site looking for parts information and love your work guys!! Feel free to ask your medical related stuff I'll help if I can! (Also quite up on road traffic law)
  9. Hi, Going to be cheeky and jump in with a question for my first post! I've got a 2002 (52) Fabia 1.9SDi, and the drivers door switch seems to have stopped working (interior light not coming on, not releaseing boot without opening another door and most annoyingly locking my keys in when I throw them on the seat and walk away without opening something else! ) Now the questions (2) 1. Where is the door switch (on my old car it was like a sticky out thing and quite obvious) 2. Is that likely to be the problem or could it be a fuse or something more simple? Thanks Guru's over to you!! Cheers SD
