Will it cause any damage to the rack tho if the pieces fall inside?

its completely stuck even tried screwing a sel tapper into it and pulling that and its just not moving!

Hi I've managed to trace my steering light fault to the angle sensor but upon removal the top of it has broken off and let the rest still inside the rack!! Any ideas on how to get this out?

Hi I'm new to this site ,I've just purchased a 53plate fabia 1.9sdi and after various checks have found my steering angle sensor to be corroded into the steering rack! The top cover has come off OK but the actual internals won't come out !! Anybody got any tips on how to remedy this please?
