When I had a rear spring fail I was told I didn’t need to change the pair, dampers/shock absorbers are normally changed as a pair, suppose it depends on what caused the spring to break

Had a Superb 4x4 estate fail mot on Sat30june with a broken rear spring Part ordered on Monday for del Tue Finally rec'd and fitted on Thurs! Apparently VAG had switched parts distribution company which failed meaning Skoda Audi main dealers TPS and anyone using them struggled for parts. Independent garage I used TQC in Stoke had 5 customers cars laid up waiting on parts Surprised it didnt make the press a bit more

Anyone else struggling to get spare parts after VAG change parts distribution partner?

On my superb there is setting for travel in one of the mfd menus and I thought that swopped the headlight pattern for driving abroad? Haven't needed to try it yet

Had similar problem after car went for mot, mirrors folded before but not when it came back, would fold manually on the mirror control panel Did the hold and open all the windows and close again no change- then noticed the rear passenger side window would not go down off the key, worked off the driver control but not the door. Checked for child locks and there is a slot key fits turned this and the mirrors work of the key Don't know if this is a crossover of the safety features, child lock disables the electric window on that door? Side effect is the window motor overload when closed doesn't confirm and so the mirrors don't fold?

Two skod superb's developed recent problems 1.mirror auto dip in reverse Sometimes dips sometimes doesn't? Changing settings makes no difference? 2. Fold mirrors on key button stopped working after Mot? works on adjuster control Help please Do in' my head in

Anybody know how to remove the trim panel? Trying to replace ticket holder

I'd leave the electrics if they're sound, coil it back up to somewhere out of sight and secure it to something so it doesnt rattle,

Anybody know if this is the same on a Superb 2012/13? Had a new screen fitted to the wifes car with the instruction "make sure its got that ticket clip" 2 months later she's broke the clip Top of the A pillar trim is easy to pull away but the bottom edge as the demister vent, any clues?

Expensive option, replace the tow bar with a detachable one, they can be very discrete, sell the old one to off set the cost?

Has anyone looked in to suspension mods to lift a Superb mk2 4x4 estate to improve ground clearance? Are parts from the VAG bins likely to cross over to give something between a Scout or Kodiak?

Anyone used one when reversing a small trailer? Have a trailer I can't normally see in my mirrors, on a Superb Estate, too low, too narrow, when hitched is the camera mounted too low to give a useful view Are there any options that mount in the 3rd brake light instead of the number plate area?
