  1. Good idea the Reg is OY62 DYG. I have today done a deal on a different yeti from a Skoda main dealer and picking it up a week saturday :-)
  2. Well got the yeti back on saturday, all seemed ok and then clutch judder like you wouldnt believe when pulling away in first and reverse. Contacted the dealer today who has agreed for me to return the car to them and they have our old ( well newer than the yeti) Juke in stock still so will do a straight swap back to our previous car. Will be on the look out for a good Yeti again soon as it is a car we really want just looks like we have had a lemon :-(
  3. Hello Everyone, On Wednesday the garage tried to fob me off with it must be the DMF and this wouldn't be covered under warranty but they would cover the labour if i paid of the part, i was like hmmm, i think it might be a better idea to actually diagnose the problem so they actually started taking things apart and identified it was a Clutch Cover Plate? so this is a mechanical failure and they are replacing the clutch etc under warranty now and picking car up tomorrow :-)
  4. Hello, Not having much luck with the yeti luckily still under warranty from the garage we bought it from who are being very good so far. This noise started yesterday, so guessing DMF or clutch release bearing by the sounds of it. Noise goes away with clutch peddle pressed to the floor. Taking it back in on wednesday for them to sort out. Video of the noise below.
  5. Hello, got the car back on thursday and all is good :-) wife is pleased to have it back and so i am i as means i now have my discovery back as she needed it for the dog whilst the courtesy car i had was shocking Mitsubishi Mirage. Good service from the garage we bought it from though no complaints from me :-)
  6. Hello, Update dropped car of on saturday and they looked at it yesterday, turns out to be a fault with the instrument cluster so they have sent this away to be fixed and should have the car back early next week. Cheers Neil
  7. Will be going back on saturday for them to diagnose and sort just wanted to see if anyone has had a similar issue before cheers neil
  8. If those two where the actual fault though would they not be on all the time not just when the lights are on? Cheers Neil
  9. Hello, I have a weird issue on a Skoda Yeti i bought at the weekend all was working fine when i viewed and checked the car over but had a 80 odd mile drive home and it started doing it with 15-20 miles to go. The Garage i have bought the car from are keen to have it in so they can sort the problem but just wanted to see if anyone can shed any light on the problem. Basically i get the two amber warning lights in the picture attached to this thread but they only appear when the lights are on either turning the lights on or when its dark enough when set to Auto, and i get no fault codes at all when i scan the car for faults. When lights off no sign of the amber lights at all. Somebody suggested maybe a dodgy battery so i had the battery tested at halfords and all showing fine, i have also attached a picture of the battery i just wanted to confirm this is the correct battery for the car incase its something weird like that. Someone also suggested disconnecting the battery and letting the ECU do a kind of reboot/reset which i might try tonight, the car was sat for a couple of months at the garage i bought it from so wondering if it was something weird with the battery being abit low to start with. Any help greatly appreciated. Cheers Neil
  10. Hello everybody, At the weekend we picked up a 2012 Yeti Elegance 140bhp tdi 4x4 yeti in grey will post some pics up soon. My wife will be the main driver of this but i bought this as we needed something bigger and more practical we have a little one on the way 13weeks and flying and her Nissan Juke was well useless boot space wise. I did say we should of got a yeti earlier when we bought the juke but hey ho..... personally i am a land rover man myself i have a disco 2 v8 which is my offroad toy. Look forward to being a part of the forum. Cheers Neil
