Hi all Time to announce my leaving of the forum full time. Will still hang around but have changed my Mk3 for a 955 generation Porsche Cayenne. As as mentioned in my post when I joined I can from an Audi A6 Avant and after 10 months or so with the Fabia I needed my engine back.

Hi the_raz I had a similar thing on my MK3 Combi, but for me it was a case of the front / rear doors being out of sync occasionally. I would pop the driver's door from the handle but the rear doors (usually only one) would still be locked. Never figured it out, but don't have the car anymore

It seems I drive mine like I stole it. Lucky if I get more than 500km from a full tank. Of course that is mostly town driving. On a long trip I get about 650km. I wonder how you guys manage so much range

The airbag lights is most cars function in the same way as the “Check engine” light. They do a power on test and then only light up again in case of an error

Mine have operated independently since day one. I do however wish they would be connected.

I drive a LHD Fabia and can confirm the pedal box is in a position that is only comfortable for someone with a physical deformity. Same as my previous car (Audi) it it seems also as if the steering wheel is not aligned with the center of the seat in German cars too.

I know it sounds a little stupid. But what cable are you using? I have had trouble with cheap generic cables. Try with an official Apple one or one that is MFi certified

My process is as follows open door and get in connect iPhone start car and drive off after 1-min everything is working as expected. one strange (or intentional) thing I notice, if you leave the phone in the car after your get out and then get back in the car you hear the connection sound on the phone when you sit down on the seat perhaps using the same sensor as the seatbelt alarm?

What issues are you having? i have been using iOS11 since the first Beta and have not had “many” issues. Perhaps you can “forget car” and repair it, that usually helps. And only takes a few seconds.

Hi. AndroidAuto and Apple CarPlay use data to provide map data and rerouting etc. You can download an area of maps offline from Google Maps but it will not reroute you without data.

I moved from a re-mapped 3.0TDI A6 Quattro to my Fabia 1.2 (90) and after 7000Kms in 2 months still find the Fabia a fun car to drive. It it does not have the power of course but in town and on small country (gravel roads in Finland) I enjoy it more than I could ever imagine. Ignore the suggested gear gear indicator and rev the ba$&s of it and it is a fun and rewarding drive.

Hi Andy i currently drive a 90hp Combi. Prevoius car was a remapped Audi A6 3.0tdi @303whp of course the total power isn’t there but I do enjoy driving this car. Just need to remember to change down a good few gears and start overtaking about a week before you need to

If you find the OBD port and look just to the right side (for LHD) you will find the cover to the fuse box. Pull the cover up and away from the bottom.

You can find the fuse box directly underneath the steering column

Good point about the wheels you would think I know my own car I plan to fit the black grille and also the full black badge set from Superskoda The car is a work in progress only 6 weeks old.

I'm currently using the same camera set. Moved it it from my A6 into the new car. I also use the BlackVue power magic pro (allows to use the camera in parking mode)

Hi, I assume you can still connect the device as a basic BT connection?

Is it just me or is it not possible to double clutch with the 5spd manual in the 1.2tsi 90? When releasing the clutch in neutral the revs do not raise or match. Anyone else noticed this? Also due to pedal position heel/toe is not possible, with these 2 issues it is hard to drive in a "fun" manner.
