Hello all, I was wondering if you can advise please. My car is a Skoda Octavia 2016, less than 15,000 mileage. The diesel particulate filter warning came on the other day, and I didn't get around to going on the motorway that day to clear it (as it advises in the manual). The next day I turned the car on and I now have an amber flashing Glow Plug System warning light and a static amber Exhaust Inspection System warning light. My car is still under warranty so I have booked it in at the garage later this week. My question is, how serious is this and can I drive it in the interim? I only need to do a few miles per day until I get it to the garage. My knowledge is poor and I am wondering if I am doing damage to it by driving. Thank you.

This is a stupid thread I know, but the little plastic hook that helps the boot's shelf lift up when the boot is opened has come off and I have lost it. Need to get a replacement asap. Where can I get one from? Thanks in advance.

Yes it was one they had at the compound, it was unregistered and only had a few miles on it. I reckon they had it sitting there for a while which is why I got it at a discount. Should I just go there and get them to reset it or something?

Hey all, New to the forum and new to Skoda. So far I am loving the car. There is one question I thought I'd ask before I contact my dealer. I bought the car brand new and have had it for 4 months and have done 2600 miles so far, the other day the 'Oil service needed' started appearing and it now comes on after starting the car and every time I turn it off. Looked in the manual and it seems to mean that it wants an oil change. Is 2600 miles a bit too soon or do I need to hurry up and get it sorted? Thanks in advance P.S. it is an Octavia SE 2016 1.6 Diesel
