  1. Mines a diesel so would have thought they would have wanted shot of it to be honest.
  2. So my lease with Horton Skoda is going to be up this year on my 17' plate vRS. What are my options likely to be? Obviously handing it back will be the default, but are they likely to offer me another year or the option to buy? Will the prices increase per month? I have never leased before this one so no idea what VWFS are likely to do. Id like to keep it another 12 months but only at the same price/lower payment. Even buying would be an option depending on what its worth....
  3. Well my diesel 17 plate PCH isn't up until later this year so if I could possibly extend that by another 12 months, which I'd like to do, a 2020 MK4 would be perfect.
  4. So missing the bigger alloys etc of the original 245. Not even the diesel manuel which I have is available now is it? Could that mean there is a new vRS on the horizon perhaps?
  5. To be honest I didn't know it changed from when they first released the 245 engine?!
  6. Has anyone had their 245 on PCH? Just wondering what deals people managed to find if so.
  7. My 17 plate vRS is due to be handed back this year at the end of the PCH deal. Does anyone know what is likely to happen? Wouldn't mind keeping it for another 12 months at the same price but have read that VWFS hike the monthly up if you want to do that. What deals have people had on PCH with new vRS's recently? Would happily hand my diesel back in for a new 245 engine when the time comes too. Currently pay £240 a month and that was with 3 months down for 2.5 years from Horton Skoda.
  8. Does anyone know if you can turn off the night mode/dimming of the infotainment when the headlights are on? It annoys me when it keeps changing from night mode to day mode if auto headlights keep switching on. I can't find it anywhere in the settings. I prefer it to be on day mode and bright all the time.
  9. My new vRS came with the old holder. I emailed the dealer (Horton Skoda) and they said they didn't know a new one was about and it's just what the factory put in.
  10. Mine also arrived yesterday. It's stunning. Whoever goes meteor grey, you won't regret it! Also love the inside, feels so well put together and the new infotainment is great. Options and settings galore. Great drive too, so much power compared to my old car!
  11. Yep.. mine is being delivered Thursday. Like a kid at Christmas!
  12. Car is in the UK and waiting to be checked in etc now. Dealer doesn't think they'll get the car until about 8th June so delivery is chosen as Monday 12th... Pretty much exactly 12 weeks from order date. So to some up the original question in this thread, yes, the given lead times are pretty accurate!
  13. How you finding the engine? Plenty of power etc in the diesel?
  14. Just had confirmation my car has been built and is waiting at port in Germany to be shipped over. They didn't say any approx delivery date yet, but hopefully be start of June with any luck. But seeing as though you only ordered yours a couple of weeks after me, end of June would be about right. They will be able to give you the approximate build week though by now so I'd be asking for that.
