Same colour as my VRS - I've got the wagon. Not many in the same colour here either - in Australia !
-
And there will be people who hate the new Octavia 4 - saying the Mk.3 FL was much better ! (LOL !)
-
Yes - not a bad thing - but I guess Skoda wanted something "unique" - not just another member of the same family...
-
I'm very pleased with my VRS - have now done 6000km - it's the best car I've ever owned. The new headlights are "modern" - and not everyone will like them. It looks better in some colours than others. And better on the VRS - and "in the flesh" than photos. The "clumsy middle piece" is full of sensors and such. The previous one was below the numberplate. We had a Skoda drive day here on the weekend (Melbourne, Australia) - was interesting to compare the old/new look. The pre-FL actually looks a little "OLD" - and will start to date quickly - looks like an Audi A4. The new one is a "unique" face for the VAG family...

Identical to mine...! A long way from Scotland though - I'm in Melbourne, Australia... Such a great car...
-
Have done almost 2000km in my new VRS wagon - have mastered all the buttons/controls - and settled into normal driving mode. Very distinctive look, with the new headlights - looks fresh, modern and aggressive. I'm looking forward to a long driving weekend in a few weeks - haven't done more than about 80km in a single trip.
-
IDENTICAL to mine - collected on the weekend - less than a week old. :-)

I'm really enjoying the new VRS wagon - it's a subtle cruiser, with an angry side, refined beast. The stop-start engine is cool in traffic - when the car in front moves, the engine starts, even before lifting off the brake. And the Adaptive Cruise Control also - brilliant on a highway when the traffic is slowing and then going... The kids love having SPOTIFY on the huuuge screen - and my son warmed his butt on the heated seats in the back - LOL !
-
Yes - will post a heap more pics, just been too busy driving it ! The dealer was excited about the VRS plates too - I'd ordered them in MAY. It's a 169kw - more widely used in Australia, than HorsePower or "PS".
-
Picked up my VRS Estate on the weekend - it's wonderful to drive - very happy ! Just took a while to get to Australia...
-
Collecting mine TOMORR - has been a long time since ordering - mid-May... Was a pre-FL request, they weren't quite available yet. And - a long way to Australia. Kids are excited too - we've never had a NEW car before !

Octavia Mk3 FL orders placed
GrumpyWookie replied to themanwithnoaim's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
I'd placed an order in MAY - was more of a pre-order before stock was shipped - and now have a confirmation from the dealer that it's arrived in Melbourne (Australia) - and allocated to a truck to the dealer. Should be able to pick it up next weekend (busy work week, can't get there - doh !!) Four months since order - and then custom build, and ship to Australia... -
Within Australia, there is an active group on FaceBook - with some schedule meet-ups, and general info + banter : www.facebook.com/groups/AuSkoda

Octavia Mk3 FL orders placed

Had a call from the dealer that my VRS Wagon in Rallye Green has completed build - and waiting for a boat. Now, the looong wait - as it chugs to Australia. Hoping to take delivery in late August (6-8 weeks) - will be one of the first in the country, so they said... -
LOL ! Hello from Australia... #StillAlive Have ordered the VRS Wagon - we had an option for "Tech Pack" or "Luxury Pack" - and then 19" wheels, SunRoof and auto-boot. That's all. I've gone for them ALL - except for sunroof...
