  1. Don't know why your dealer is stalling. Mine ordered new seat covers straight away. Took some time to come but should be fitted shortly.
  2. Sorry if I've caused any concerns with people waiting for their new Kodiaq. Just want to make it clear that although I'm still waiting for a new front sensor and new seat upholstery I still think it an absolutely fantastic car. All my friends, family and work colleagues comment on it's size, good looks and luxury. It's the best driving and most comfortable car I've ever owned and you will not be disappointed.
  3. I looked closely in my original post about faulty car seats and can't find any reference to Theresa May, Scottish independence, Brexit or the underlying battle between persisting communism in the old Soviet Pact countries and the New World Order. Anyhoo my local dealer has seen the car today and stated that the seat material has been cut too short by the manufacturer. New seat upholstery and a new radar sensor have been ordered under warranty but there is a shortage of both and no estimate of delivery. So the posts elsewhere about VW radar sensor problems and the shortage of middle seats seem spot on.
  4. Picked up the car 2 days ago and I'm generally very pleased with it apart from a couple of things that make me question the quality of Skodas Quality Control. Firstly the Front Assist radar sensor isn't working. It intermittently displayed that the sensor was impeded and switched off on the drive back from picking the car up from Preston. Now it is permanently off. Also noticed very poorly fitted middle seat trim as it goes under the handle to fold them. See pics. Seen by local dealer who suspect they were cut too short and will have to replaced. Car booked in for 28th June. I'll update after.
  5. Yes I do know it's not 'live'. My comment was tongue in cheek as I'm sure the original comment was. However the date at the bottom for the satellite images is 2017 so there is remote possibility that my car is in that map.
  6. Mine arrived there last week. My car is Moon White and as almost all of the cars there are covered in a white wrap I have a very large choice but I've picked one out on Google maps and told myself that's it. It makes the wait a bit easier.
  7. Just noticed that in the U/K and Skoda global website visualisers show the new 9.2 inch Columbus (without knobs) but worryingly the U/K car configerator only shows the 6.5inch one.
  8. This appears to be the Sirius wheels for the UK as seen on my local Skoda dealerships demo car 2 days ago. Car was a bit dirty which is why the wheels look a bit yellow.
  9. Ordered my first Skoda last week. A 2.0 diesel SEL DSG 4x4 Kodiaq and waiting for build date. Only other experience with Skodas was when my dad used to drive a Skoda Rapid taxi in the 80's that used about as much oil as petrol. Come a long way since then.
