We get about 300-320 miles out of the 245 tank, usually short-medium journeys though.

What badges are you thinking of? Wish there were 245 badges, would've liked something to differentiate the 245 a bit more.

Can't be that many pre-owned 245s for sale yet...

Haha there was me thinking mine was white because my car is white You're right about hatchback/estate though, there is a different picture on mine for the estate.

I presumed it was automatic based on the colour of your actual car... but as mine is white had no way to tell... are all the car graphics white then?

I think @Ursicles was referring to the actual CAR on the picture, not the background/door insert colour...

Can't configure one on the Skoda website... and the dealer whose demo I bought said he wouldn't be able to order a 245 to replace it until June...

Curious... apparently somewhow using the remote keyfob, my wife managed to open all the windows (at the same time) and the sunroof. I wasn't there to witness the event and she doesn't know how she did it (she was reaching down getting the baby out of car at the time) but thinks she pressed something on the key! Is this a feature? Why would you want to open all 4 windows together? I can't see any reference to it in the manual!

Picked up my Moon White baby on Friday (ex demo), and pretty damn happy so far! My third Skoda vRS and definitely the best! Shame I won't get to drive it every day as my wife has custody Monday-Friday Only pics so far are the dealership ones, too busy driving so far and now it's dirty as well... white's gonna be a bugger at this time of year!

I'm rather confused about fuel recommendations with the Octavia VRS 245. The owner's manual and under the fuel flap both state minimum 'Super Unleaded 95 RON'... but I thought super unleaded in this country was >97 RON? So what does it actually need...? (Filled up - first time since picking her up on Friday - with VPower today, but the wife's not so keen on the extra ££ every time!)

Went to have a look at an Octavia vrs estate today, and all seems great - just that the exhaust seems to be making what I can only describe as a 'whistling' noise from the rear tailpipe. It sounds a bit like a water tap that's been turned on. Makes the noise at idle and through the rev range, but not blowing as far as I can tell. Any thoughts on what it might be? Should I be overly concerned? The rest of the car is pretty much fine so I'm mostly happy...
