  1. Thanks to you both @Tolpol62and @CS45 I had something similar in previous cars and didn’t want to go that far. Mind you for the money you can’t argue with it.
  2. Wondering if anyone can recommend a good bumper protector. My dog is scratching it when she jumps into the boot. ive seem plastic fit ones but they seem extremely expensive - around £45-70. recommendations please!
  3. Sorry for late jump onto this thread. Can i I confirm them @Simoneale1973and @UrbanPanzerThat the usb mdi option doesn’t allow you to play music from your iPhone?
  4. Cheers @UrbanPanzer should have said I have the standard swing radio without Bluetooth. Was looking for a minimal cable set up to get Spotify streamed. The aux in and the 12v by the handbrake aren’t in the best positions for fm Bluetooth transmitters like I have had in previous cars.
  5. Just wondering whether anyone is streaming music through a bluetooth mdi connector? Some £90 bovee ones about and some extremely cheap £10-20 ones.
  6. I’ve got a cheap fm transmitter in the Transporter at the moment but this won’t work in the Fabia because of where the 12v plug is. Apple play is a dream I won’t realise because I’m a very stingy Yorkshireman.
  7. I forgot to add decent Bluetooth streaming and call capability too - for the Fabia and the Transporter.
  8. I shopped around to find an estate one with cruise and that had the cthe engine. Rear electric windows just weren’t a popular option in either hatch or estate. I have a dog so in the summer opening the rears is going to be important. Ive got mud flaps on order for the estate, have added some paddle extensions and will get round to considering heated seats and the rear windows when the expensive work on my Transporter is done.
  9. At the moment it’s down the priority list. I also have a VWT5 and there’s lowering, remap and cruise control on that list that have to come first. As with all things it’s about money and whether it’s within my capability to diy it.
  10. Obviously it’s time to put it together but you never know. Could generate some real interest.
  11. I trust you’re creating a build threat on this @UrbanPanzer? great effort.
  12. At the third attempt I’ve managed to buy a fabia estate - two previous attempts in 2017 and finally a success. Very impressed so far with it. It’s big inside and seems to have two sides - The sedate 45-50mpg cruiser and the high reving frantic B road eater. It’s refinement on motorways seems good and it handles better on bumpy B roads than I’d have thought. My carista app works well with it and I’ve ordered some paddle shifter extensions to make them slightly easier to use as Im finding them too stubby to use comfortably. All in its a cracker. (So far....)
  13. Spent a while searching cross the site and not really found much of use but can anyone point me to a guide about retrofitting rear electric windows or speak about their own experience?
  14. Date of registration: CTHE June 2013. Vrs estate. Colour: Red (black alloys) Options fitted: no idea but It has cruise control. I plan to look at paddle extensions and functional things like Bluetooth, boot sill protector and seat covers. My dog came with me to collect it today and she approves.
