Hi, can anyone tell me if the body panels on the estate are the same (shape, dimensions) as the saloon model? Obviously front end. I need an offside wing. Thanks

Hi all. Some time last year, I raised the height of the rear of my octy with some Monroe dampers and kilen springs and they’re great! I bought the same for the front, obviously shock absorbers, but unfortunately they didn’t have the anti-roll bar attachment on them. Annoyingly I found out after stripping the first one off and had to build it back up! The car is still lowered at the front and the roads and bumps round my end are so horrendous that after many scrapes my sump finally cracked to bits on me last week as I still haven’t got round to raising the front. Anyway, by any chance have you the reader, or anyone else recently just lowered their octy vrs and still got the standard setup lying around? Hope you can help. Cheers, Jordan.

Hi all! To cut a long story short, I am in need of some spring seats, that go on top of the spring and under the top mounts (part 5 in the image). Not sure if I need part 6 as well as mine is a vrs and I've heard they don't require the collar. I know they're usually a main dealer part and come with the car as a rule but the guy I bought the car off has thrown them away. Obviously I'm going back to standard. Is this something I can get or does anyone have any laying around for the price of the parts and not the full strut as I already bought new struts and springs, so don't wanna have to go to a breaker for struts when all I need is them parts. Any help will be massively appreciated!

Hello to everyone, a bit about why I'm here - After so long looking for the right Octavia vrs estate for the budget I had, I finally found one earlier this year. I love the car, but it's not perfect yet. No idea what the last owner did to it but it needs sorting out, and I've been here getting answers since the beginning of the year. That's why I'm here now signing up! With it being a mk1, albeit one of the last ones (54 plate/Jan 2005) my answers may already be here. Unfortunately I have no photos of the car to share, but I soon will have. At the same time, I hope to give answers to anyone who may need help or ideas! Thanks to all who welcome me, Jordan!
