My wife has just had a letter from SKODA asking her to bring the superb estate 1.6tdi in for the EA 189 nox emissions service done, should she have it done or is it OK to keep running it as is?

I had this problem in my mkII octy but in the FOS footwell, it was a blockage in the sunroof drain, does your superb have a sunroof? What did you do to your other car to fix it?

I managed to get it working, I disconnected the bluetooth under the seat and reconnected it and it worked OK. We were able to connect the wife's phone no problem. Thanks for asking

I have just bought a superb estate 1.6tdi and we couldn't get the bluetooth to work, took it back to the garage, basically they couldn't get it to work either (I think they had just tried to pair their phones) I checked with skoda online and the car was definitely factory fitted with it, so I told them it was, they spoke to 2 dealers who said that even if it was fitted but wasn't activated then it wouldn't work. As you can imagine we were not happy, so we went to pick up the car, the first thing I did was was check there was a Bluetooth module under the drivers seat then we got home I just unplugged the connector and re-connected it and it all came up on the screen and it works fine (if you unplug it make sure you disconnect the battery first)

Hi all Just bought a superb estate 1.6tdi had it for a day and the glow plug light came on and it went into limp mode (not happy) Had the car plugged in and it showed the fault as Egr valve sensor circuit B. Rang the garage took it in and they have changed it. But had to wait for part, but the car is running OK now. But as you all know they are not cheap to have done, I was quoted £800+ for oe part and £735 for best of the rest this included fitting and vat -
