Just a quick update. This was approved as a warranty repair by Skoda and repaired with no issues, also they did a recall item why she was there on the boot catch release (or button) so all in all I’m a happy chappy again. G8VRS

Yes I definitely wouldn’t stand for that as it’s only ever been washed with a hose, bucket of water and a wash mitt. And I would have to agree even if I had used a pressure washer, a properly painted car should be able to withstand that.

Thanks for the reply. I don’t have any mudflaps fitted that little 3 inch lip is standard on the Facelift VRS it’s not actually a mudflap that you can see. Will pop into my local dealership and get them to look at it. Cheers, G8VRS

No definitely missing flaking paint.

Hi all, just noticed what I think is a paint defect on the rear bumper on my new VRS (only done 2000 miles), the paint appears to be flaking. Do you think I have a valid warranty claim? I would touch it up myself but wouldn’t want to effect any claim in the future if it should spread. Would the best course of action be to show dealership, see what they say? cheers, G8VRS

When I first saw the split headlights I didn't like them at all but now I actually prefer them, they look quite aggressive and i think they suit the car ... I must admit though I prefer them with the black grille surround, but that's just my personal opinion. Saw a lovely race blue one today with chrome surround and actually liked that as well.

Thanks mate, those 19" extreme alloys on yours look amazing, I am happy with my wheels but there is a slight niggle in the back of my mind saying I should have gone for these.

My mistake it looks lovely lowered. Having a sneaky look in work and must have missed that post ....

Ordered my new FL Octavia VRS 2.0 TDI from them in March, picked it up beginning of June, excellent service and very helpful and kept me up to date at every stage. No complaints from me.

Ok so maybe just a glitch somewhere, I'll keep a check on this and if it happens again I'll get it checked under warranty. All seems ok at the moment. Thanks for the reply

Well I've driven only 271 miles in my new FL VRS and loved every mile, however today the below message popped up on the infotainment screen. It cleared itself after 20 minutes and seems ok again now ... confused. Will have to keep an eye on it and mention it to the dealer maybe get it checked out. Has anyone else experienced this? Cheers

Yes standard sized SD card, I've just ordered one for mine.

Yes this is the same as mine, I quite like them, I think on the pre facelift the sides were leather.

Thanks, yes I love it ... think It's going to be a big effort to keep it clean though, only had it 30 hours or so and it is quite dirty. My OCD is in overdrive at the moment. Lol Going to buy a couple of buckets tomorrow and a wash mitt. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good soap to wash a new car?
