  1. Fan switch sourced from a gentleman breaking on Facebook. Judging from some threads on here it’s normal for the fan to kick in ~100+°C?
  2. Okay, I can't find this part anywhere! Skodaparts.co.uk don't have any in stock! Am I able to cut the 2 pin connector out and wire in a connector which fits the 3 pin switch? Any help/advice is greatly appreciated!
  3. Am I right in thinking this switch will fit? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SKODA-FELICIA-6U-1-9D-Radiator-Fan-Switch-97-to-01-AEF-FirstLine-1H0959481B-New/232642135061?epid=1137657582&hash=item362a8d4415:g:LQEAAOSwE8daaP5Y For reference mine is W reg 1.3mpi
  4. Hi, Can anyone point me in the direction of where I can find a fan switch to fit the photographed? My local garage & GSF/Euro car parts can only provide the switch seen in the 2nd photo. Also, in need of an oil cap . Anybody have one for sale? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance
  5. I live in Bristol! How much were you looking for the shelf?
  6. Hi, I need a parcel shelf for my Felicia, Hate how everyone can see into the boot! I can't find any for sale on eBay nor any local scrap dealers. Can anyone point me in the right direction to purchase one? Alternatively, are there any other models/cars which have the same fitment shelf? Thanks, Alex
  7. Temperature rises past 110°C and comntinues into the red. Putting the interior heaters on lowers the temperature a little
  8. Replaced temperature sensor. Gauge is now working but is overheating. The fan is not kicking in either. Replace thermostat?
  9. Yeah, left it running stood still for around 30 minutes and the gauge didn't move, this was after a drive as well! I have taken it on a 35 mile one-way trip before involving traffic, country lanes and dual carriageway stretches and still no movement. Got to be the sensor?
  10. Hi RicardoM, Thanks for the reply. I do not have access to a multimeter and am planning on driving from Oxfordshire to Bristol this evening. I am able to get a temperature sensor today though. Do you think I am better off waiting until I have a multimeter to test the current sensor? Or is the sensor common to fault and worth replacing in hope that it will fix the gauge? Also how does the gauge not working affect the car? Worse fuel economy, yes. It does not seem to overheat though? Any help is greatly appreciated
  11. New here. Recently purchased a Felicia 1.3mpi. The temperature gauge does not work at all though. Has not lifted off 0. From my brief research on here I am thinking the thermostat housing? The heaters inside are working fine, heat changes from hot to cold and cold to hot quickly. Fan settings also work as should. The car does not seem to overheat and as far as I am aware everything is running as should (except gauge). No coolant loss, gunk in oil cap, etc. Should I change the thermostat housing to see if this fixes the gauge? Any other suggestions?
