Well what was your first impression on the new motor?

Was thinking of doing the exact same thing! Herself will be doing the much longer work commute so thinking of changing my manual vrs to this in sport version automatic with most of the extras on it for her. When you getting the new car?

I have a 19" spare when I bought my new vrs. Most dealers will do a space saver, tools and incert for cost if you buying a car from them. Just push them not costing them anything.

As above superskoda is a good website I have ordered a few times from them never had a issue. Around the same price as my local skoda dealer here in Ireland but superskoda have the parts in Stock so I order from them.

First time I have ever had this happen. So how would that have happened? Just ware and tare or a fault in manufacturing?

Just looking at one wheel on my two year old vrs. No curbe damage on the wheel but not sure what has caused this? Can't feel anything with my finger nail so presumably a fault during manafacture? Has definitely gotten worse over the last few weeks.

Pure stupidity! Picked up the phone while going out of a car park space, taking a hard left out and I cought a right angled curbing on the other side. Only plus side was no damage to paint on the car. Will ring skoda Monday to get a new alloy as I don't think superskoda sell a single wheel anymore. Hoping I can get the tyre supplier for work to do me a good deal on two tyres for the front of the car as they was close to replacing anyway.

In fairness it was me that did it, 21 years of driving ultra carefully never to ding a wheel and all came to a belter today.

And I thought cleaning the car today was going to be the bad part of the day!
