What gets me in any of these threads where Brexit is concerned is that whenever a pro-EU opinion (facts are different) is shared, there are the usual suspects who slavishly lap it up as if it were fact. The usual woop-woop, and trophies and likes and loves. Any pro UK opinion is rapidly shot down - usually with citations from the Guardian or other openly pro-EU rags. There are similar patterns evolving on most social networks. Free speech is welcomed, but only if it comes from the left. Yesterday I read about the so-called 'Caroline's law': https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-51710897 No doubt, it will only apply to the left. Anyone who is anything to the right of the hard left is openly called racist, bigoted, fascist, etc. The same applies here. Any pro-Brexit, or pro-UK comments are slammed. It doesn't seem very British. It doesn't seem very patriotic. I'm sorry I even opened this thread up. I should learn. But, here's a fact. On the 31st January 2020, we left the EU. That is done. No EU flag waving will change that now. Personally, the more I hear about the EU, the more desperate I am for June. But that's my personal feeling. I'll let you carry on with your EU flag waving. Enjoy.

There's no evidence, just an opinion, and you propose it as if it were fact. And, as usual, anything that is even the remotest bit pro-EU, it's lapped up by the usual one-eyed members.

Poor Ken and Lee. Did I pop your bull-tish bubble?

Oh dear Lady Ela-bore.... Can you cite and prove how our data will be less secure? Is this just your concern? If you ever cared to open up any web page in the last few years, and especially since the GPDR rules came into play (thanks EU), and selected a little choice that told you who was using your data, I dare say you would be shocked. You are being monitored and mapped on every web page you visit. Try it next time. There are literally hundreds of data-farming companies that map you. But anyway, please cite some facts.

To terrorists/criminals? Are you making excuses or statements? Can you cite where the GC would overrule a deportation situation?
-
You see, I'm perfectly fine with deportation, because: Terrorism, or wanting to stab, shoot or blow up masses of people isn't for the public good. Especially when their (the public's) only crime is that they are residents of this Country and have different ideals. So my take on it would be that as soon as someone gets a sniff that someone is up to no good, they're out. They can't feign ignorance, they surely know what they're up to, so they can be shown the door as far as I'm concerned. Why should I then have to pay my taxes for surveillance, courts, prisons, de-radicalisation schemes when their only aim is to kill me?
-
So what's the magic solution? And you're correct, but you certainly can deport someone that wasn't born here and that's a non-UK national.

Maybe he's afraid to use the words Islam or deportation?

What do you snort before you write such contrived pathetic trash? Honestly? If you can open your bloodshot eyes a little, can you read back to yourself what you wrote? Apart from the fact that it's so blindingly obvious that it's purely put there to aggravate, it's also completely contradictory. You say 'today' in one breath then mention 'another 11 months' in another. You seem to gloat at the fact that we actually have to pay to get out of this awful institution. You revel that this is some kind of punishment, that we're naughty and have to bribe our way out. Lastly, there's the old chestnut again that apparently, according to you, we will automatically and permanently sever ties with European counterparts and no longer have any financial partnership with them. Ever. That we will just stop trading with them and they with us. The VWs, Audis, MBs, et al will be happy not to sell us their stuff any more. They'll stop selling to us nasty British and be all the better for it. But guess what? We're out! YOU lost. This is the day you kept telling us would never happen. Sorry, but.... actually, no, I'm not. -
