Adjusting headlight beam (2017 Octavia Estate SE-L)
Brogeur replied to Brogeur's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
Are the screws easily noticeable? Thanks for the info. -
Hi all, My 2017 Octavia Estate SE-L needed a new passenger headlight, and the cheapest option I could find at the time (around 18 months ago) was a complete headlight from Germany. I have recently had the car MOT'd (its first MOT) where its now requiring adjustment of the beam. Am i right in thinking this is possible? Manually? or via VagCom specialist? Thanks in advance N

If you have a picture of these mate i can recreate the artwork for you and supply you with a perfect 1:1 replica PDF file. All you would need to do is find someone who can print number plates. DM me if you'd like. -

I reckon you should completely paint/powder your rear pressed plate yellow (same paint code as car) and your front pressed plate completely white. For show use. Would look lovely. -

Agreed a twin downward 'diesel style' pipe would be lovely here. -
Westafalia was the one I was looking at weirdly. Glad I’m on the right track. could you let me know what ‘tow bar prep’ is?
-
Do you know what make/model of tow bar you're getting?
-
Just fit one.

I've only gone and done it ....

Hi all, I have a 2017 Octavia Estate, and I'd like to add a tow bar suitable for towing a caravan. Can anyone recommend one for me? Note: I have a rear reverse cam (standard) with parking sensors. Thanks in advance N

Airbag Light dashboard - HELP!
Brogeur replied to Brogeur's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
The code specifically mentions the squib... do you still think this could be the wiring under the seats? TIA, Nick -
Hi all, After putting the car through diagnostics I am left with the fault code: skoda passenger airbag squib short circuit to ground permanent (i think this is the code b100211) Can anyone shed any light on this? TIA, Nick
-
Thanks mate. That was my thought as well. I may potentially buy a donor car. ill keep an eye out from anything mid 2013 onwards. Nick

I assumed that the dashboard is one piece. With the passenger airbag firing through the dashboard, it would mean that it would need replacing. i don’t need to replace clusters, the touch screen, and all the little bits, it was simply the dash itself. And with that in mind...what was the earliest year that the dashboard is the same?
-
I’m wanting to replace the airbags, so require a new dash.

Hi all, I have a 2017 Skoda Octavia. Could anyone tell me if the dashboard is the same as an older model? My octavia has a screen if that helps. Thanks in advance Nick

Hi all, Could anyone tell me if a 2014 wing fits a 2017/18 model? Are they the same? Thanks in advance Nick
