  1. Just 100% confirmed head gasket blown. Motor 1.4tsi code caxc a3 8p. Driven 216 thousand kilometres. Apparently no internal leaks -> fluids not mixed
  2. Did you sort out this problem or what was the cause for problem?
  3. Hi! Sorry for not updating here for a while. But all the things went fine. It totally worked. I've got now remote control on my central locking. It works fine and it's oem fitting. Big thanks to all of you who were helping me. One thing keeps me little irritated.. I didn't have to make anything for coding and I didn't learn anything about vcds things. Also the roof have changed colour. Before it used to be white but it had a little lack fault so we decided straight to paint it black now the colour is a little bit more solid than before
  4. Now I've got everything that I need for remote control upgrade! Only coding is needed for this case. A friend of mine has vcds but we don't maybe dare to do it ourselves so I have to book a time to skoda service
  5. Yes i did know that. I asked that kind of kit from skoda dealer and I think it was bka 700003. But I wanted to do OEM fitting. And all the people who has done this kind of improvement have told that it's possible. Only coding seemed to be problem but then we decided with father and friend of mine that we take coding from dealer. My friend would have been coded it with me but we don't certainly know what to do.
  6. It's oem key and immobilizer came with that key. It will be coded with vcds.
  7. Long time no see! Okay, things are going forward. I ordered fob key and it came couple days ago. The next question was: Do I have to buy new one or is it enough to buy used central locking control module. When the used box is already coded for car A, is it possible to code to car B. Problem was most likely solved when I asked dealer's staff mechanic about it. Used box probably can be re-coded. Today I will order used box which comes a lot of cheaper than to buy new oem part. It's also in that kind of place that there isn't water so I dare to buy used one. Haha, everyone (even brand's part dealers) is saying, when you get that thing done, tell me how things went and how you solved problems.
  8. Thanks for quick response but I didn't understand 'any word' what you said and the translator didn't help me. Google didn't tell me what is ticky or reflashing.. Sorry for that I'm so bad in English in case that I said accidentally something wrong I meant this: when the box is coded for a certain car for example car A, is it possible to code the same box to car B with vcds? It would be insane if used part dealers would sell used boxes if people can't even put the boxes on to their cars...
  9. Hello! Is it possible to re-code used central locking control module (5j0 959 433 A)? I have 5j0 959 433 box and I have to buy that one with A letter end of the code because I want remote to my car.. I wonder whether to buy new or used one. It would be a Lot of cheaper to buy used one and recode it if possible. It's also in that kind of space so it doesn't deal with wet surfaces etc. so that doesn't make any difficulties. Friendly regards okku12
  10. Hopefully you get it fixed with that switch!
  11. For instance switches symptoms are that it works only up or down in that door which is faulty. But the window works completely by the drivers door's switch. I think its also possible the switch doesn't work either way, BUT imo its more probable in that case to have faulty door wiring.
  12. I apologize. Sorry for that S27VEJ. But I have had 2 cases about wires. Other was in mk5 golf on the passenger's side and the other was on mk2 fabia couple weeks ago. Both were on passengers' side wires that were broken and the electric window didn't work. There were other wires too that were almost snapped. Wire systems are quite similar in both sides of car in those doors, they have the same issues. Always first have a look at the cheapest faults and those that you can check by yourself. It's waste of money if first assume is some body motor or etc and someone buys immediately a part worth of hundreds of euros/pounds and added work to cost if done by dealer. After all that reveals fault and it is just some snapped wire which's cost is about one pound.
  13. I'm sure that somehow the electric goes to the other mirror too if the passengers side mirror don't work then I would recommend you to check passenger's side wiring first. It's really stupid system in vag cars; wirings between door and body break very easily. Edit. Brain fart I meant recommend
  14. You could be right. I had the same thing in my previous mk5 golf v. By drivers switch the passengers window worked but not by passengers switch. The safest way to change the switch is to remove inner door. I broke three inner door holders when I fixed the door's wiring in mk2 fabia. Holders cost about over 1 euro for me. It's much easier to remove inner door first and it may be also safer for the switch. Switches body could easily break. I can't say where you could buy the switch because I live in Finland but ebay would be the place if you know the oem code. Realoem.me could maybe tell you the code.. Edit. It has less work to do if you succeed to remove that switch system withour removing inner door but its more difficult. I just tried it fast (in case that I could take a video shoot of the removing) but i didn't dare to take switch system off because I feared something would break. Youtube can give something when you search for: skoda fabia window switch.
