Hi all, Looking for a spring replacement for the rear. I'm wondering if I can use springs off a similar vehicle that might be found in north america? Just curious if anyone has some insight here. Cheers,

I know there's ridiculous ideas floating around the web... Just an idea that popped into my head, would it be feasible to swap a 1.4 fiat multiair into a 120? Basically you could pull the running gear out of a 500, and transplant the trans&motor. Any other doodads could be pulled form a donor vehicle. Seems like the trans would line up, you'd need different axles I'm assuming because FWD. Would this work?

Awesome, thanks! I'm looking to get the motor, gearbox, suspension etc. This is a great start.

Hello, I have a 120 that I'd like to convert to an 130RS. Does anyone know a place where I can at least get a listing of the components? I can speak Czech fine, I just can't seem to come across anywhere where I can see what's involved. Thanks in advance!

Hi all, Hope your motoring is happy! I have a question about the oil type for my '89 120. What weight is acceptable? I can't seem to find the right weight, I've checked the haynes manual and it seems a bit ambiguous. What do you guys use? T

I figured it out; The 3 bolts that hold the manifold on were loose. I put my foot on the muffler when it was running, and noticed there was play there. Runs good as new. Thanks for all the help!

I'll have a look, I didn't see one since the exhaust is so short, but that's exactly what it sounds like. Odd that it only starts after warmup :p

Hi all, I have an '89 120L, and it's developed this sound that's almost like a heat shield loose in the rear. It starts after the motor is warmed up, and during mid range revs. So idle is fine, and what passes for WOT is usually fine too. Any ideas? I thought maybe it's the exhaust rattling off the frame but it's not.

I love this!

Clocked 1Hr on the nose this AM Usually quicker going home. Although I'm going to Woodbridge, so I think that's where my math is off.

Do people approach you about your Estelle / Rapid?

All of the time. I usually 'meet' 3 people a day when I take it on the road. The stories I hear are so much fun! -
I've got one! 120L I'm just west of Barrie ON. This car gets so much attention it's unreal.
