Hi Since a while, I started to hear some whining noise when I drive in a roundabout, especially when turning to the right. I am thinking it might be the wheel ball bearing or the surface of the road in contact with my tires. Does anyone encounter this problem on their car? I have Bridgestone Turanza T005 tyres. Actually was too much oil.

I checked the oil and it is at the maximum level.

I Apparently they checked and said that the oil level was alright. Personally, I did not check but I think I should.

Another issue came up is that when I tried to press the gas pedal to the bottom my car chocked and almost stopped. It never did that.What can be the cause? Can this be the reason for the engine warning came off?

I know they shortenned the cable but at least they should repair the defect. Also, I got another problem which they said that it is not their fault. I have a warning light about the oil sensor workshop. I have to call the dealer to see what is about as they couldn`t find the code fault.

Thank you. I know that those cables should be in that position but the mechanics put them back like that after they changed the shock absorbers. I went back to them and, they are changing the cables free of charge as it was their fault.

Today, I managed to look at the sensors. I am stupefied by my findings. It is appaling. I think I need to go back to the garage to fix it. These are the pictures of it. Also, I have all these errors now.

I think the problem appeared when I washed the wheels with the pressure washer. I will lift the car when the weather dries, and I will look at the connectors. At the moment, the lights disappeared after I drove a few minutes.

So, shoud I go back to the garage to check with them?

This month I did a full service and MOT on my Skoda Octavia MK3, and they gave me an advisory for the front left shock absorber as I need to change it. So I told them to change both of the front shock absorbers. After that, I used the car for three days to work, and everything worked fine. Also, this morning I used the car, and everything was fine. When I arrived home, I decided to wash the car, but after I finished and tried to park it, I had the warning lights flashing for the TMPS and ABS. My question is that can the sensor has anything to do with the change of my shock absorbers?

Hi everyone. I have my car since 2017, and my car battery shows signs of ageing. I do not know when my car had the battery changed as it was three years old already when I bought it, and I do not think the previous owner ever changed it. If I calculate and if it is right, my battery was not replaced since it left the factory, which was in 2014. My question is: how long did your battery last after you bought your vehicle? Do you think it is time for me to change it? If I want to change the battery, which brand or model do you recommend or use? I want to specify I have an Octavia MK 3 Elegance with Start-Stop system. Why your update is 12GB? The new version for my car is only 5GB.

I called them and they said my car need to be booked again and run a diagnostic, which I have to pay for it,(£105) and they will take it from there. The diagnostic was done once and they had the code but I do not know why they want to do it again. They blame my dash cam, but I am sure nobody had any problem with any sensor because of a dash cam. What do you think happens in here? Also, I did not receive any Skoda Approved Booklet when I bought the car and they gave me the warranty.

I bought my car last year at the end of April as used approved (reg 2014) and it came with a 1-year warranty. My sensor for high beam assist it not working. I went to Skoda dealer and they told me is not covered by warranty. When they gave me the paper there is not specified what is covered and what is not covered by that warranty. I Tried to find out why is not covered and they do not tell me anything than that it is not covered by warranty. Where can I find out what is covered by my warranty? What can I do in this situation? Thanks.

I looked around for something to stick on the top. I do not like the ones which you have to put the clips inside because when I close the window it will scratch it.

Solved!!! it seems I misplaced the fuse whilst I checked them. Thank you for your reply!!!

What happened to it? Is it possible I moved it by mistake? I see it is one in 13. Could be that the one? What fuse should be there? 20Amp?
