  1. Cega engines tend to have egr up front of the engine unlike most cr engines
  2. not sure if already mentioned but Romford, Enfield, Slough and Hayes in London do serve public.
  3. He printed and adjusted the car right in front of me. I did mentioned that the car is lowered with new top mounts, shocks, springs, as well as fully polybushed up front with anti lift kit which does increase caster. Subframe aligment is not possible since I've used collar kit from Tyrolsport. Lastly I did notice saw tooth wear on the rear tyres which had done less than 2000 miles and I didn't notice any marks on them before.
  4. Door module give it a whack near door handle sometimes switch gets stuck if that fails you have to replace it.
  5. It looks pretty much the same as mine apart from caster and camber but I've got poly bushes and anti lift kit on it
  6. Call cartronix mate ive got same thing on mine, the only one that does work is speedo needle rest of them dont light up. Youre looking at 150 if you take your clocks out if not i think they charge somewhere round 50 quid.
  7. Took a valve cover off today, no broken arms or anything.. It feels like i've got no compression sometimes. Will set timing to marks tomorrow and see if it has jumped. If it hasn't i'm thinking hpfp pump im out of ideas my old vag com doesn't show any codes neither does carista or torque.
  8. Hi, its my first thread so if in wrong place please move it. Ive had my vrs for roughly about 2 months. Bought it used privately so no warranty it was ok, but sometimes normally on a warm day i used to get really bad engine shudder ? just like youre about to stall car, all i had to do it was turn it off and on again and it would worked briliant as usual. Ecu didnt store any codes so kinda just left it. It did happen two more times, then today on a trip to southend in traffic car started doing same thing turned it off and on again to drive about 5 metres and it happened again so pulled over and tried cranking it but it felt like it had no compression. Took timing belt cover off to see it was intact and nothing broken. Checked ecu with torque pro and carista but there was no faults once engine stood for an hour aa man came and we tried to start it again but no luck but it felt like it had compression again. Tried easystart but it didnt worked either. Out of curiosity checked top idler roller and it didnt move freely as it should it was quite stiff movement so hence my question how unlucky iam ? is it going to be head or whole engine ? thanks and sorry for my bad spelling.
  9. There clutch less, basically they always work but they've got valve inside that's let's gas through
