Sadly no, all I know is that's the original on a 2006 1.9Tdi 4x4 but in all other respects it's been a cracking car.

Had about given up on the air con but out driving today and outside temp hit 28 degrees and low and behold cold air started flowing, both fans working. I know this won't last as this has been an ongoing issue for the past few years. Garage advised me it would be a costly repair but I'm not convinced, surely a compressor failure would just result in no air con. Anyone else have a similar issue/solution? Cheers

After over a year of no air con on Friday it kicked back into life, the very weekend I was planning on car hunting! Maybe I've found a new method of car repair ;-)

Hi, Get them to check the N75 valve, power problem solved on my car once this was replaced.

Air con never really blows cold any more, turn temp up to 29 and get heat within a few minutes but down to 16 and the air isn't what you would call cold Guy came out to check gas and he said no leaks on system and he couldn't explain why it wasn't blowing cold! I'm a bit adverse at taking it in to a garage as I don't want to incur heavy expense for something which is not detrimental to the running off the car plus I've just forked out for a new timing belt/water pump. Any tips would be appreciated Regards MOGO

When first opening drivers door I have to pull the handle twice opens as normal (just the one pull) after that but back to two once you lock and unlock! Anyone else come across the anomaly ? Sorry didn't make it clear this occurs externally - press the fob to unlock but still have to pull driver's door handle twice to open door, does not occur on other doors!

Finally got around to sorting out a slow puncture and was told (and shown ) by the fitter that corrosion aorund the valve hole on the alloy damaged the valve causing the slow puncture. The fitter said he would not expect to see such corrosion on a car of this age (2006 with 23K on clock) Anyone else had a similar problem and would it be worthwhile taking it up with dealre/Skoda ???

Had a similar incident about 20 years ago and to be honest the police had no interest when no one had been injured and on that occasion a witness had taken down the other vehicles registration! Took me the best part of a year to resolve things thorough my insurance company and legal assist going after the third party. Just glad that barring a few scratches I'm uninjured, could have been a lot worst as the wing mirror came through the window and ended up on the back seat, would have done some serious damage if it had hit my head.

Driving home from work along Scotland Lane in Leeds (narrow B road) on coming woman driver busy talking to her young child (who was sat in the front passenger seat!) swerves on to my side of the road, up goes I on to the verge but she still hit me. Now minus a wing mirror and drivers door window - anyone care to guess if the considerate woman driver stopped - did she buggery and by the time I turmed she was long gone, A plague on your house missus!

Make matters even worse they have now got clucking Dale Winton on in the afternoon, thank goodness for local radio!!

Back from the Easter break to find Zoe Ball standing in for Ken Bruce, am I the only one who ends up changing station after a few minutes of listening to her rabbit on about her husband, her kids, her life! Anita Rani, Fern Britton or or Kirsty Young do a much better job than this younger version of Sarah Kennedy
