  2. Yeah I spoke to the seller (after some negotiation) Managed to get a partial refund to cover the cost of the new parts..ordered them from Skoda earlier after.i gave them a call. £25 all in for the fixing bracket and the screws. Will take few weeks. Bit of a ball ache but least will be able to get.it fitted.
  3. Hi. Yeah the problem was a seized wastegate. Now fixed and back to her best self
  4. Hi guys. Purchased a arm rest from eBay. Listing had it as "complete" low and behold arrived today and there is a part missing. I am looking to find out if the missing part can be ordered on its own so would appreciate it if anyone knows of the part number. See picture for the missing bit... Thanks in advance
  5. Plugged into ECU and getting code PO234 turbocharger/supercharger A overboost condition
  6. Afternoon everyone. Not been too active on here as cars been running perfect. However... Today, on motorway. Was trying to overtake and put foot down. Normally I'd fly off with a surge of turbo power. However... Today... Put foot down and nothing. Have also noticed car taking a wee bit longer to start up. Has been over 1 year since plugs where changed. No dash warning lights So is my turbo about to die? Or is it the plugs? Answers on a stamped addressed envelope please. Ps just about to plug reader into the ECU and see if any codes have came up
  7. Wouldn't mind a vent mount like that. I've searched high and low online and can't find anything for our car. And I am using a eBay guage. Nothing expensive
  8. Ok thanks. Ill replumb it to original location then for now. No wanting to go splicing into vacuum lines willy nilly
  9. Ok. Could u post a pic of where u recommend tapping into then. Did the pics of the grommit help you at all?
  10. Here is grommit I used. There is another behind this that leads to cabin. To access the second one you can unscrew one bolt on the rain tray lift it up and you will see it and get at it easier. Once through the second grommit lie under the passenger footwell look up and you'll see your cable .
  11. I taped in here. Boost guage reads zero when idle.
  12. I managed to get through. I can show u how if u like. Not too difficult once you know.
  13. Thanks. Do u have a photo of where I should take feed from. Much appreciated
  14. Guys Looking for best place to tap into for boost guage vacuum line. Had different people mention different places. Could you help settle it. Pics of exact location would be helpful. Many thanks ps this is where I've been told to tap into..
  15. Nice mate. Although couldn't have been cheap if it was from BT. Yikes. That site is extortionate. Look more agressvive for sure
  16. Sorry about the thread ressurection. Dont suppose you have any extra pieces of metal for your boost guage air vent build. Looking to fit one and previously was looking at a apillar mount but no custom ones and you air vent build looks good.
  17. £100 for mudflaps and wind deflectors? Seems a tad high. Any pics ?
  18. Hi all. Was mucking about with the Skoda bluetooth. Finally got it to pair with my phone. Made a call and the call audio is not playing through my head unit. I have an aftermarket Chinese headunit. Any ideas? My new headunit does have blue tooth built in which works fine but it's annoying me why there is no audio via the Skoda bt. Does this need the OEM swing radio to work? Thanks
  19. Just had a look on ATS. They have some Avent potentums show C for wet grip and B for fuel economy.... And 47 quid each. Seems really good? They also have the tigar you mention. They're a wee bit more expensive and are C for wet grip and C for economy
  20. Heck knows. But looking on fleabay. Some budget tyres that have decent reviews at about 37.99 a pop. But someone said that the ZR code isn't used anymore and means they are old. And as such would fail an MOT. The ones on eBay are landsail.
  21. Someone said that tyres over five years old will fail an MOT is that true?
