  1. I also bought the Bosch A556S set from eBay, they usually go for about 17 to 18 quid. If you get this set, they have the fitting builtin so no other adaptor required, looking at the wipe area, if you change from the pin type to this square slot shape, you'll be moving the wipe are slightly, as the pin type is off set. Mine are not totally silent as they make a small thump noise on stop after some months of use but they appear to the cheapest known brand I can get a hold of.
  2. Do you also notice the knocking sound when going over bumps? Check for cracks in the bushes, lower arms, droplinks and torsion bar.
  3. On my Toledo, the cables sag this much, the drivers side more than passengers. I tried before to bend the clips up a bit believing they might snag on something, but they eventually lower back down again. Interestingly, these cables aren't noticeable on similar models on the same platform such as Polo and Fabia.
  4. Most of my OE filters are Mann made but Bosch should be fine too, not heard of Crossland personally.
  5. Have you thought about some 6x9 on the parcel shelf?
  6. Like you may have guessed, there are many dashcams with many different features. Dashcams should have basics such as loop recording, some form of sound recording, and auto recording from power. many have G-sensors and some have GPS or GPS sensor as option. I prefer a barrel or wedge type with dual lens and no GPS. You may have other requirements. I would suggest you do some research first on what your preferences are first before your purchase, there are lots of Youtube video on reviews but these tend to be higher end. Youtubers such as Techmoan review some lower end models by these change specification very quickly and some have reliability issues.
  7. If your dash cam power lead isn't long enough, you can use USB extension cables. The metal plate you see in my photo can all be used as ground, that's where the screw goes on to. Hope that helps.
  8. There's also a VIN plate on the right side of the car, also paper sticker located on the left side where the spare tyre is stored.
  9. I use what's near my commute which is a Jet garage. I usually stay away from supermarket fuel as they seem sluggy or not good for MPG which in my mind offsets the savings. Otherwise I use Shell when I can and collect the Airmiles
  10. Here's what I've done. I had a spare dual cigarette lighter extension with a faulty plug, so i stripped off the plug head and crimped on a fuse tap on the positive and a screw terminal on the ground. As i have two power outlets that are switched now, I have added my Garmin back. The fuse I used was 14 which I believe is for the headlights, I might change that to another later on then I start modding the headlights but this will do for now.
  11. Just checked mine as its dryer weather today. The right driver's side is hanging lower than the left passenger side. It's still on the hanger but lower down, i've managed to push it back up again but the hanger itself is a bit flimsy. Might do some zip cable tidy when i get around to it to tuck it back up a bit more.
  12. Same on my Toledo too, I've only recently had mine so I thought its because my car has been parked on the dealer forecourt for a while. I think my passenger side window is squeaky because of the crud that's collected on that strip.
  13. The different coloured patches are sound deadening material which prevents harmonic vibrations from road noise. I suspect the crack is because it was applied too thinly and it didn't want to stretch. The sound deadening material is not structural and shouldn't cause you too much problems.
  14. Do you see another pipe on the other side? It could be the rear brake pipe. On my car it seems to be low too.
  15. It's not a Skoda... mostly stock so far and filled with Skoda parts and trims
