Got my Octavia VRS TSI with DSG transmission, Black Pack, ACC, DCC and reversing camera. It was a painfully long wait from order to collection but I think it is going to have been worth it.

My 5 and a half month wait was finally over today as I collected my new VRS!

No it's a VRS TSI with DSG. Unfortunately I couldn't stretch my finances far enough to get a 245!

Thankfully it is an excellent deal, which is why I have been fairly happy to put up with all of the delays.

Excellent to see that your car finally arrived @peterhardy, looks like it was just about worth the wait too! It looks as though I'm going to beat your 23 week record but hopefully mine should arrive soon as it is now in the UK!

@themanwithnoaim did you do the wheels yourself? I've got 18in silver alloys on my order but those black wheels look fantastic.

No I'm not a Motability customer, but I did buy through a broker which is probably why I stayed at the back of the queue!

Can't believe how quickly some people on here are getting there VRS deliveries now. My VRS TSI doesn't get built until BW40 and I ordered it in BW20!

I also don't think it is the sunroof, my order is just as long and I haven't got the sunroof option. Unfortunately I think you might be right @djkarlos

@peterhardy I feel your pain! I ordered on week 19 and build week is now 42 (after initially being advised that delivery would be mid September). Really can't believe it is going to take 6 months from order to delivery.

I ordered a VRS 230 hatchback with DSG, DCC, ACC and rear camera on 12th May with an estimate of 18 weeks to delivery (mid September). Found out today that the build week has now been put back to week 42 (mid October). I'm beginning to think that I'll be lucky if I get the car by Christmas!
