Rear Wiper Spray Nozzle Repair on Estate
I have the same issue. Must have broke the nozzle off with wash mit or hit with ice scraper. I didn’t fancy prising the light unit out so thought I would try something else first. I solved it by sticking a small bent pop rivet shaft in the hole held in place by tape then used a hot glue gun to add a “glue tube” pointing down towards glass then removed rivet and tape then gently trimmed the end to give a neat finish. It’s so small and hidden by spoiler that it’s not noticeable and the jet of water now does the trick. I’ll see how long it lasts, just need to watch I don’t destroy it the first time I was the car. 😂

Car Photography Thread
Hey Entername, no worries, to be honest I’m just glad someone was interested enough to look at the thread after I uploaded all the photos 😂 and yes I started driving back in 79 so have had a few motors. I really really wish I’d been smart enough to hold on to the minor pick up and the mini clubman’s are costing really strong money and of course the mk1 escort has become iconic too. Hindsight is a wonderful thing!

Car Photography Thread
Apologies if this is off topic but a day of boredom saw me creating a compilation of all the cars I’ve owned since I started out in the late 70s. I lost the plot a bit in late 80’s but eventually got back on track with my first Skoda. Not all vehicles pictured were mine (sadly I didn’t take many photos) but they are exact colour and model I had and are pictured in the order I had them. I only owned the Kuga for a few weeks ( missed the Skodas) and had the wee rag top for 6 years as a summer toy while having the white Fabia as a daily driver. Wish I still owner the pick up!

Fabia 3 tailgate release
My son and I traced the problem. The supply wire was broken where the loom goes through the rubber concertina between body shell and tailgate. It had previously been repaired and wire had snapped next to the bullet connector. The wiring seems so brittle and I have to say I’m not confident that I won’t get further problems with the wiring in the car. 🫤

Fabia 3 tailgate release
I have a 2016 Fabia estate Monte Carlo. The rubber release button under the number plate has stopped working so I have to open the tailgate with the key fob. I’ve had the release button off and tested it for continuity with a multi meter and it’s working fine. So I’m thinking it has to be either the wiring or the release motor on the tailgate although it obviously opens with the key fob so I presume the motor itself is OK. Anyone any ideas?

Monte Carlo interior
I found it on eBay now, (central tunnel) I had no idea it was the complete centre console. I was convinced the red piece was just a trim that clipped on to the console and was separate from the black section and that’s what I was searching for.

Out of interest what is the part called? I’ve tried searching on eBay various permutations of centre console, trim etc with no joy, I even tried the part no. You gave

Wow, that’s very good of you. I’m NW of Glasgow so too far for collection. I won’t be collecting my fabia for a couple of weeks and in no hurry to swap out the part so I’d be delighted to pay postage for yours. I’ll try and pm you with my phone number. thanks

Monte Carlo interior
I’ve just bought a16 reg Monte Carlo estate from Arnold. I like the red interior trim apart from the red surround to the gear lever / centre consul. Does anyone know how I could find the part number to try and get a black replacement? My son suggested getting it wrapped in carbon to match the dash but not sure if an exact match could be achieved.
