Here are the pictures from my Superb hatch - what do you think? I think they're pretty close apart from one of your pictures on the red Octy which looks different. I'm hoping you'll say there are clear difference and will put me out of this booming misery.

I have a 2017 Superb hatch with this issue too. Will the stoppers also fit this model?

Thanks - I'm going to do as you suggest (both of you) and see how I get on. I think I might be getting used to this noise, but every time I think that I am, I'm still pleased to get out of the car and rest my ears!

Hi all. I've only just taken delivery of a Superb hatchback 1.6d SE tech auto. Brilliant car apart from this weird noise I can hear on slower speed roads. Accurately and more appropriately described by others as a 'boom' and sounds like the noise you get when one of the rear windows is open. I've not read all 50 odd pages of this thread (!!!!) but was hoping some kind soul might put me right before this noise drives me crackers. Please could someone let me know if there is a solution for this? I'm not sure I want to put up with it..... such a shame!
