  1. Thanks, took forever as left it with local garage who I trust ( not the cheapest, but generally spot on) . Shoulder totally wrecked after they confirmed the BCM. I let them take it out and ping it to the auto electrician ( the auto electrician said if you have a DIY go and fail it's a new BCM and recoding -£1100, ouch)£480 later all in it's done, still ouch . Not a great design, it had blown the relay.
  2. Thanks , I will check that list out. Ibo t hear any relay clicking sound. The front/ rear washers work, and rear wiper. Could be a motor issue but have a bad feeling about the BCM, I will follow up with a vcds owner and see what the score is.
  3. Ignore me,so duff info on YouTube. I found the other BCM thread on here, but recovering from trapped nerve in neck and dislocated shoulder this is not happy , even with the front seat out. Will see what local garage reckons and go from there.
  4. Hi, thanks for all the great info on the mk 1 and 2 Skoda's. However I am unclear on the purpose of the pluggable relays on the front of the bcm board as yo look in from the driver's side panel? I have non working front wipers, and Carista odb has relay and 2 open/ short to ground and stop switch error ( guessing that is the switch at the motor?). All fuses seem fine, I am really hoping it's the plug n play relays not one soldered to the board. Also not clear of the significance of the stop switch error? If I reset the errors they instantly pop back. This is a low miles 2018 Fabiana hatchback. Cheers
