  1. Hey guys, Thanks for the help on this, I've had it fixed now with Dent Devils, the quote was 120 for the one dent and rear quarter, but we noticed there were a lot more dents on that panel from the bin about 4 in total, he also got rid of one on my rear quarter for free, in total it came to 180 which I think was excellent value hes also buffed the panel and knocked out some surface scratches. defo Try dent devils if you have them in your area. No issues with the ADAS.
  2. that's fantastic cheers! I wish the dealer would of said that when I called and asked them about it!
  3. Cheers for sharing that! And that repair was 200 quid!
  4. Cheers guys, yeah it's the driver side door, the ADAS thing was flagged up in the chips away quote maybe it's not an issue I just wasn't sure with this car wondered if anyone had any similar work done. I'll get more quotes does seem like everything is just so expensive these days.
  5. Hey there, I've had dents before on my Skoda Fabia and I've had them fixed with chips away for 100 quid but never with ADAS? which they don't cover. The storm yesterday knocked over a bin and its dented the car. Wanted to get some advice on how best to approach it. Tried chips away and the quote was 375 without ADAS recalibration. I've called Skoda and they gave me the panel company they use, getting a quote 11th Jan, but it sounds like it's going to be nuclear expensive, the operator said be prepared to go down the insurance route. Am I missing something here or is this sort of work usually this expensive? Maybe a better company or service to handle it all? And if anyone has any advice on if the insurance route if it's worth it. Thanks for the help, appreciate it's abit of a boring / hard to answer post.
  6. Hey guys, I have a vrs 245 2019 octy. Noticed yesterday my car was making a subtle blow off noise at around 3k rpm ish, gear 1. Is that normal? Can't remember hearing it before but I do usually have the radio on. I've got 3 years warranty so if it's a sign of something I wanted to get it in the shop, it took 6 months for the first warranty claim! Cheers guys.
  7. Oh god how embarrassing haha yeah it was just the cover 😂. Although annoyingly I have lost one 😞
  8. Had my tyres changed last month, didn't notice one of the nuts has been tightened at an angle. How screwed am I here? 😞
  9. Finally got the car wooop woop! Getting used too the size :0. Already had a motorbike scrap the me side, didn't check his blind spot and it was the First day driving it back 5 mins from home! Can't see any dents though thank god.
  10. Grrr the car still haven't cleared the finance waiting on VWFS 😞
  11. There's no images on the trader link haha, I snapped it up on the reserve before it even went fully live. It's racing blue, 19 plate 51k, FSH. heated steering, heated front windscreen, heated seats, black pack and the almost impossible to find digital display, I think that's it for extras, not sure if lane assist is standard. Negs: tire brands and some light thin scratches around the door handle, highish milage. 16k p/x w 3 years warranty.
  12. It turned out it had FSH and gave it a drive today seemed chushty. Only issue was tires there abit **** tbh not tread but brands. But I've got a good part exchange and some added extras on the offer so I think it's a well rounded package.
  13. I've found the car! Picking it up Thursday
  14. Very true, thanks guys. I've asked for it in writing so hopefully that will explain the situation. It's just so much money to base things on assurances.
  15. Cheers that's worried me then. The car is being prepped for sale, he's going to send an invoice of whats been serviced during the prep. The sales man was pretty sure that it would of followed the service schedule after contacting Bristol motors Skoda but As the car has 50k on i really need to know. It's all Bristol Street motors Skoda/ seat. Not gonna lie I'm a little worried now.
