Still trying to close sounds right, but like I said the strange thing is the original one behaved this way aswell. Is there maybe some sort of start/stop point that needs to be programmed? Or maybe some faulty switch in the lid that doesn't send a closed signal?

Hi all, newbie from across the North Sea here. The left side tailgate motor crapped out and after a long while I finally replaced it. Went for one from NTY as the price difference from original part was huge. It works, but after closing the lid it makes a loud vrrrrrrr sound for a few seconds. The original one did this aswell for a while back when it worked, but it was not nearly as loud so I didn't bother much with it. Does anyone know what can cause this and if there is a way to fix it?
