  1. Hi Steve, I have fitted now both the tuning box and the pedal box plus onto the car.... the tuning box adds more kick and makes it gallop quicker, but oh my when you add that pedal box it turns into a beast! I currently have the tuning box set on Program 2, (tried 1 - which is decent, but now on 2).. not tried 3 yet. And kept all settings to zero so no need yet for +1, +2 etc on the programs as seems good enough already. On the pedal box i just love the second setting (yellow led - sport mode) it picks up so fast, and you definetly notice the difference WOW! trouble is when you de-activate it you feel like its a different car, its so hard to drive without it on! Its well worth the extra cash and adds so much fun into driving...by golly does it add some kick into the engine!!!! awesome - buy a pedal box seriously!
  2. Yeah they did the update on my second hand box to latest version and the latest pedal box plus all for £250.
  3. Your a bugger jonny! Im sold and have ordered the new plus pedal today. Update will follow over the next week or so :-)
  4. thanks Johnny that's really good to know .. I was thinking about the pedal box too but wanted to see how I got on without it and just using the tuning box... many say it adds more but this is purely for accel isn't it and basically doubles your foot down on accel hence the quicker pick up? I have seen DTUK new pedal box which looks nice too, a nice improvement on the original one. I'm going to see how I get on without one first, it may be enough for me with the tuning box added. thanks
  5. Just to add DTUK are updating the tuning box with latest software version tailored for my car - manual diesel 67 plate, which they say is 4 versions newer than what was on the box... I'm trusting them with honesty as to be fair they have been decent with me giving free advice beforehand... It's costing me £90 posted back to me, but still works out a bargain for latest software on used tuning box so i'm happy with that
  6. Yes Steve I will.. im just in the process of awaiting my tuning box back from DTUK, as was three versions behind so getting the guys to reflash it for me £90 cost. I bought the tuning box second hand for £120 so still a bargain!
  7. Good evening everyone.... so I picked her up brand spanking new last weekend and today was her first wash... last week was manic busy for me away with work so not had chance to post piccys up or drive about much. VRS diesel .. and she will be having a little bit of magic applied over the next few weeks ... oh yes - DTUK tuning box going on soon, god help me she's fast already without it! vrooooommmmmm!! .....I'm totally in love with the handling out on the road.. its my first ever VRS.. and can I just say wow, she's one awesome car! She handles far better too than my previous car which was a M sport BMW X1! So without a do...please meet mistress vader! very proud to be Briskodian member officially now
  8. ok dont shoot the messenger guys.. i was just pointing out you could tell pork pies that's all, it's up to the individual i guess
  9. has the car ever had a tuning box fitted or a remap done ........................................ no! have you carried out any modifications to the engine at all .............................. errrrrr no!
  10. does this help at all http://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/details/ports/175/Germany_port:EMDEN
  11. Yeah alcantra is extra £800 i believe... standard is just fabric with red or white stitching free. Standard also has suede sides on the seat though as free :-)
  12. Yeah that was my thought too.. it does look mean colour and very aggresive! With the black pack it resembles darth vader!! Lol... im sticking with black i think now. Cheers guys x
  13. i did have my eye on race blue as looks sporty but also a young look too if that makes sense... i previously had a white car and wanted something different.. black looked mean and sporty when i saw one at the dealers so that made my decision up to order black... but since placing the order i have seen many vrs's in meteor grey with the black pack on... it does look very sporty and could be the hot colour for cars... it does have a uniqueness to its colour too, i quite like being inidividual too. Cant decide whats best colour still!
