  1. Thanks for the response, tried to be careful but it wasn’t that easy. It can always be fixed so no issue. Yes it does have an adhesive pad on it. I am guessing it’s best removed with a hairdryer?
  2. Hi all, My green Skoda badge on the rear of my Octavia vrs mk2 2010 is looking a bit tatty and I’ve recently purchased a replacement online. The issue I have is the one I have has two pins on the rear which dont seem to fit the car. I have cut off the pins but the badge does sit flush on the car. I have prised off the old badge and have ended up with a black rubbery/plastic pad on the car still as the metal top just seemed to come off. Is this correct or do I need to remove the black pad too? I have attached a picture of it too. thanks in advance, Craig
  3. Hi all, I have a 2010 Octavia vrs mk2 with a Bolero stereo which I am looking to upgrade. Ideally I would like one with Dab radio, Bluetooth for phone calls and if possible, sat nav or mapping software of some description. Ideally the screen would show the temperature settings data etc like the Bolero currently does. Is anyone able to suggest a stereo that would do all of this? Thanks in advance, Craig.
  4. That’s great thanks for the advice. I’ve already had the alarm go off randomly a couple of times which would explain it.
  5. Hi all, I am looking for a bit of advice for my 2010 Octavia vrs mk2. Recently I have noticed when opening my drivers door, the interior lights do not come on and the dash light for the door being opened doesn’t show on the dash. I’ve had a look through the forums and it looks like the microswitch might have broken. The question I have is if I was to buy a new door lock and fit it myself, would this fix the problem or is it best to just get a new microswitch and take the lock apart? Are microswitches easy to fit? Thanks, Craig.
