  1. I'm driving a 65plate 150tdi dsg superb with the same issue, out of warranty I fear il end up with a hefty bill taking it to the dealer. When i travel over speed bumps around 10mph i can hear this noise, and its embarrassing. So loud. Sounds like somebody bouncing on a trampoline with rusty springs. I've already had lots of work done under warranty, including new drivers side door trims rubber and chrome, drivers side window switch actuator when I lost the one touch, heat shields tightened around the engine bay, MFD scroll wheels replaced on steering wheel after they cracked and crumbled, this car seems to have so many issues. The TPMS keeps saying I have a flat tyre, each time it's a different wheel too. Skoda said I have had a puncture repair in the past and you're losing air, each time I check the pressures following the TPMS lighting up they all read perfect, for weeks! Doesn't make sense. One of these days il get a puncture and keep driving. I've even noticed the bonnet doesn't seem to line up straight, more of an overlap on one side where it meets the front arch panels. Think il just leave the noise and see if it gets worse or just replace the bushes later on, I'm only at 37k now.
  2. Hi. I started a thread over a year ago about a harshness from my 2.0tdi 150 dsg engine bay. I took mine to west skoda where they spent weeks falsely diagnosing and returning me my car. First they done up a loose undertray bolt and said it was that flapping and they claimed to have tested the car on the road and couldn't hear the noise anymore. When I returned it a week later they ripped out the dash to find nothing wrong. Finally it was diagnosed as a loose heatshield, which when repaired only reduced the noise rather than eliminated it all together. The noise I experenced was more tinny than yours. I could tell it was coming from the engine bay however the technicians at skoda seemed clueless. From your video it seems like the dash rather than the engine bay area. I sometimes do get a similar noise to what you're experiencing but it's only for a second usually when pulling away and it's temperature dependant I.e cold starts.
  3. Recently purchased superb 3 hatch from arnold clark. 13k on clock. This is the 2.0d 150 SEL Im experiencing a noise coming from the engine bay area, sounds like a very mild grinding or harshness. The noise is most prominent at half throttle around 2200rpm around gear change point. If i lift of the throttle to prevent the dsg from upchanging i can sit there and listen to the noise. It surely mustn't be normal?... Also there is a rattling noise which has just developed like a component is loose which can be heard across the rev range. Ive seen a similar post to this before. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this before. Also while im at it. Does anyone have a quick fix for windows not continuing to open and close at 1 click. Im having to hold the button. Is it window pinch? Mine doesnt seem to work.
