  1. I think my passenger side drain tube may be blocked or broken, could someone tell me how and what they used to unblock drain tube, also where is the outlet, was dark last night so didn’t hunt it down, is it by door hinge? i poured water into sunroof channel, a minute later it pours out by the bonnet release handle, Rang Skoda they what over 100 just to do a diagnostic test before the fix, I guess that’s a jug of water which iv already done cheers
  2. But hopefully not trying to do expensive work that doesn’t need doing, like my discs brakes, don’t know if it’s because my partner takes the car in for the services........?
  3. Sorry for delay in replying, been driving south down the A1 and now stuck in traffic as M11 shut, cars are upside down!! Waiting for chopper to land.... Anyway was a pre paid fixed service total £139 so hoping oil was changed, just invoice didn’t make any sense to me
  4. Just a quick question on the skoda minor Service, do they replace the engine oil or top it up? I cant work out the invoice cost breakdown, but obviously see a filter and sump plug on it, so assuming it’s a full refill... Ta ,
  5. Same wheels and tyres, same easy website, worth a look
  6. Most seem to be leasing companies, was looking for something like drive the deal, but they only do car at the moment, going for the new ford connect Lwb
  7. Oh, thankyou for that info, I was told that was why my sensor stopped working, to be honest I still believe the garage did something to it when they were testing it, the day before it stoppped, anyway your Dumfries centre is only an hour away from home so I might book it in to have someone have a second look at it, could you tell me the name of your centre if possible cheers andy
  8. Think they are a leasing company, thanks anyway

  10. Yes that was the advice given. i declined going that route as I don’t trust the sensor is built and designed well enough to sit so close to the road surface at the front of a car,
  11. I would, but I literally can’t prove how it got damaged, all I know is, if there’s a fault with system, it is pinged up on maxidot display, I didn’t have a fault warning driving home from the skoda garage who had just adjusted and checked ACC and lane assist, parked on my drive, next morning on engine start up, car hadn’t moved, lost all my safety and driving aids!!. Just bad luck sir, £800 please sir. i had some on here say, well who needs cruise control anyway, man up! As I say, it was less than 24 hours from leaving the skoda garage, to ringing them up asking why evething has stopped working. yes sir, sorry sir, might of been kids kicking a football at it, 800 please sir, can you tell I’m still bitter.....
  12. Have exactly the same winter tyres only done about 2k, and have put them on and off and on again same time as you, spooky....it’s still mild here in Cumbria, waiting for the beast to arrive again..although car is up for sale, going to get a panda 4x4cross for a bad weather run around.
  13. The white square at top of sensor on mine is made of a glass type mirror, not covered in any way.
  14. Mine is the lower radar sensor, not the new higher one in the centre of the main grill,, obviously they moved it higher to protect it from damage, but doesn’t help. Those of use with the old version. its a tiny 5 mm square piece of glass mirror at the top of the sensor, you have to lay down flat and look up to see it, mine had a crack in it rendering my acc and cruise control lane assist dead. yes let us know how it goes, hope it all works out well.
