Sonax BSD mixed with FK 425
KristofferStrand replied to KristofferStrand's topic in Styling and Car Care
50/50 - it seems that the original qualities from the two products are still there. Super slick and brilliant beading Next time, I will try to have higher concentration of BSD. Will post pictures next time I wash the car for beading/sheeting pics -
Hi, Just wanted to tell you guys that I mixed Brilliant Shine Detailer with FK 425 quick detailer. I saw the idea on detailingworld, and it worked perfectly! Easy to apply (BSD is not that easy to apply by itself) and the shine, and especially the beading is top notch! Recommended The road grime beaded up well Cheers from snowy Norway

Octavia III Facelift
KristofferStrand replied to 6nations's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
I find the FL exterior to look more modern than the pre-FL. The interior look nice, especially the large infotainment (Columbus). And yeah, the LED headlights is superb (by looks and brightness) -

I have the high beam assist on my vRS (came as standard), and for me it is working as it should - have tried it a few nights now (the light switch in auto position) -

I am new to the VAG DSG gearboxes, any issues heard regarding the increased torque from the tuning and the DSG? I assume the DSG gearbox will have a hard time? -

I have had my Octavia now for almost two weeks. When people I know see the car for the first time, most of them compliments the front and the "grille-section" in particular- and to be honest, the split lights have really grown on me, especially on the vRS. -

If I remember correctly, I think I signed the contract 18th of August - I received the car the 17th this month. I got the impression that they prioritizes the vRS models -

Hi, Kristoffer from Norway here. Today I picked up my first Skoda, and the mentioned Skoda is a vRS estate TDI DSG. Like lots of others, I went for the Moon White metallic paint. Also chose red stitching and the 19" wheels. Compared to our Golf MKV TDI estate with original "sport suspension" and 17" wheels, this has better ride quality - and that kind of surprised me. I also love the seats and the new Columbus head unit. Can not wait to cleanse the paint and put on a layer or two with Sonax PNS Cheers -
New Skoda owner from Norway says hello
KristofferStrand replied to KristofferStrand's topic in Hellos and Goodbyes
Hi, and thanks for the reply! Yes - it is a massive difference between the two cars. The dealer said that the RS-model is prioritized, so it is planned to go into production in week 39, means delivery in Norway in week 44. -
Don´t know to be honest - never felt the texture. I found some cheap, "china made" polishing cones on eBay in coarse, medium and soft, so I bought medium and soft. If they are comparable to my other pads like the Über, HexLogic and Meguiars, I will try them when I polish the rims before the sealant are applied. Will make a small review if I find them ok

Hi, New at the forum, and I have recently ordered a new vRS with the 19" Xtreme wheels for the summer, and 17" for the winter time. When I pick up the car, the winter tires are fitted, so I plan polishing and sealing the summer wheels before the spring arrives, so; Have anyone here tried either the power ball or power cone for those rims? Cheers, Kristoffer

Hello, My name is Kristoffer and I live in Norway, about an hour from Oslo. I currently own a Golf MK5 Variant (sport edition here in Norway), and I have to say it has not been the most reliable car and the rust issues has been present. I have recently ordered a Moon White Octavia vRS with DSG and diesel, and I am looking forward receiving the car - really enjoyed driving it when I drove the demo car Working as an mechanical engineer in the oil and gas industry, and I have been doing some part-time detailing beside the main work the last 6-7 years Cheers!
