  1. I have now had my car for a couple of months and am now satisfied with the sat nav artrangment using the iPhone, I now have an iPhone 8 PLUS which is a nice big screen and I can choose between several sat nav apps which includes MOVE AND FUN I ten to use the Navigon App more tho which cost me £70 UKP's... Bit expensive I know. The car is great but would have been greater with cruise controll and reversing sensors as standard
  2. I hope the seat belt extender solved your problem, my problem was the belt cutting into my neck which, needledess to say, was solved with a big fluffy belt protector...
  3. For anyone who may be interested, I have tried the Navigon Europe app on my iPhone today and I am a happy camper. The App works fine and the car and the app work well together, by which I mean that when I recieved a phone call it muted the radio sound and when the sat nav wanted to give me dierections it again muted the radio sound. I am not at all sure hiow I would make an outgoing call but my main concern is that I don't miss incoming calls (which means missing work and lossing money) It is rather pricy for an iPhone app at 70 UKP's however I can live with this now I find it works properly and behaves like an integrated sat nav. Since integrated sat navs are unblievably costly fitted after purchase. The sat nav app does not display the OBD2 info that Skoda Fun and Move does, however, I see that as a bit of a gimmick anyhow and if I really wanted to run a full OBD2 (On Board Diagnostic) I have one and would connect it to my lap top and get the full info. In short it is no problem(to me) I hope this is of some use to others
  4. Thanks Steve, very helpful. I am gonna try the NAVIGON app on my phone and hope that the Skoda app will run in the background giving me phone access (if needed) I am working in Mid Wales this morning so the drive from Manchester will give me a good try out. I will check out the video as and when I find it. Thanks for the input Steve Asa
  5. This is a furtherence of my prvious sat nav question. I have the 2017 Citigo Monte Carlo which as you know has the dock for iPhone using the Skoda App (which I cannot fathom). So, I wondered if anyone has managed to fit another Sat Nav into the iPhone holder with any degree of success? Or, is there an instruction manual for Skoda Move and Fun, or is it just trial and error? By the way today was my first day driving my new car and the car is mint, I love it.
  6. I believe I have posted this in the wrong thread, I appologise to the admins SORRY I haven't collected my Citigo yet, Wednesday, so I am being premature. My Citigo has the device to hold an iPhone in a cradle then attach to the cars dash through a USB socket. Is it possible to use the cradle (or replace) for the Garmin sat nav and replace the iphone holder with the PID garmin holder. Thank in advance
