With the amount of repairs I ended up paying for after purchasing this car you are spot on.

I'm having problems with starting my 2007 Skoda Octavia elegance 1.9 TDI estate when the engine is warm. It starts first time every time when it is cold but when the engine is warm I have to start it twice. The first time it starts but almost immediately stops as if starved of diesel but when I immediately restart it the engine starts and runs fine. I would be grateful for any ideas as to the problem and how to remedy it. I've already replaced the injector seals and secondary fuel pump but the problem persists. Kind regards Steve.

The first time it runs slightly and then dies as if starved of fuel but when I restart the engine it runs fine every time. I am hoping someone has the answer to this problem as apart from this quirk the car runs very well. Kind regards Steve.

The first time I turn the key it starts but then dies as if starved of fuel but if I then turn the ignition on straight after it has died it starts fine! I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem and knows how to fix it or if anyone has any suggestions as to what the problem might be caused by. Kind regards Steve.
