Hello, I purchased 2 switches, one exactly the same as mine, never seen the point of adjusting 2 mirrors at the same time though. Any way I then purchased one, quite cheap from I believe a 2006 Fabia, has mirror seperate, you either adjust left by itself or right by itself, makes sense I think. Excited, I removed the old switch put the one from the 2006 model in, nothing. removed that put the one in exactly the same as mine, working, no problem have attached pics i ask is there any way I can test the switch off the car to see if it actually works, or have I been done lol regards

Many thanks found one secondhand exactly the same as mine on famous auction site, £18 just hope ok and have not wasted my money was always puzzled by L+R setting, and the L being at the bottom by itself do you know ? many thanks mate

My Fabia 1 2001 door mirror switch is playing up, mirrors going in out up and down, when I try to adjust them, the control knob feels very sloppy, as though it maybe broken ; technician I think broke lugs when he replaced window mechanism, I just used a dab of silicone to hold in place searched the Internet but all I can find is left hand drive ones i ask please, where can I purchase for right hand drive

Hello, had drivers side go, paid a lot of money to have it done. now passenger side has gone, ordered and decided to do myself, any info would be much appreciated, have read topics put up on forums, is there a step by step guide I can refer to ? many thanks

Good news They have found intermittent fault on angle sensor cable, they are going to replace with genuine item from Skoda. 2 days delivery time Problem then should be solved

Will see what they say i kept hinting that the Fabia is known for problems with steering angle sensor, but didn’t seem interested in my comments

Will let you know the outcome tomorrow to be honest I am a little peed off with them, don’t seem to have much Skoda experience by the sound of it

Hello, Took back to garage today, they had brief look this afternoon, and going to take out wheel arch liner for further investigation tomorrow

Ok many thanks where I took the car they put it on I believe snap on diagnostics, I watched them, it came up possible steering angle sensor fault they replaced complete pump, I told them I had been looking on internet, purely from interest and discovered there are a lot of problems with this cable they didn’t want to know do you know rough price of genuine Skoda part thanks for your help
