  1. Opening the back doors in heavy rain today and I got these streams of water flowing in from the roof and on to the seats. They need a deeper water channel on the roof. Pretty happy otherwise.
  2. Don't rule out the air con either. It might have built up over a while and you just happened to find it now.
  3. I won't be putting them in until another few weeks. Still snow and ice where I am. Just wondering if I should send it back or avoid the hassle and stick with it. I guess I could also just scrape out the gel.
  4. I’ve just had delivered a new Hankook Ventus Prime2 to replace one I destroyed during a puncture last summer. Despite going out of my way not to order one with SealGuard, thats what the ending up sending me. The tyre is exactly the same as the others except it has a gel inside. Does anyone know if its ok to just have just one of these tyres, or will I be horribly out of balance?
  5. In the climatronic "other" settings you can turn automatic windscreen heating on but it doesn't seem to do anything for me.
  6. Has anyone had issues with their heated windscreen turning on automatically? I have this turned on but doesn't seem to work. When driving in sub zero temperature I manually have to turn it on to stop my windscreen from fogging up.
  7. I've found I need to unlock my phone before connecting or I get the message that I can't use it while in motion. Also need to turn my phone hot spot on every time. Android Auto works much more easily, I just plug it in and it works. Would also be good to keep AA music going while oneapp is the infotainment but it seems it's one or the other. Oneapp now seems to log in the background now when I'm using AA at least. I like how you can show the battery voltage in the widgets. I use the webasto a lot with only short drives so was worried about draining it.
  8. Even if it was the same size the sensor could be picking up on different torque as the weight would be different.
  9. Just noticed it stopped logging half way through my trip when I switched over to Android Auto to use waze and Spotify. That's pretty disappointing.
  10. Thanks! I'm all up and running now. Might need to try out that app too.
  11. Now that I think of it I must have been connected just to my home WiFi rather than through the usb cable. I think i will have to play around with WLAN connections tonight. If my car doesn't have it's own mobile data can I still connect my phone to the car WLAN or does the car need to connect to the phone WLAN hotspot?
  12. No I didn't set the TPMS on the spare. I just went without ACC until I got the new wheel fitted the next day. Figured it wouldn't be safe to use it.
  13. I crawled home last summer on the spare after getting a puncture and the same thing happened. It was fine after I put on the new wheel. I set the TPMS before I took off.
  14. Tried this out for the first time today. Took a while to get my Samsung connected to my Amundsen. My main issue is that it it told me I couldn't use the app in motion so I can only use it while parked up. Also would be good if it started logging when I plug in the usb. At the moment I need to turn it on either through starting the app on my phone or selecting mirrorlink on the Amundsen. Also, people are saying they have it working in Carplay. What about Android Auto? Nothing is showing up in it for me, I have to start it through mirrorlink which shuts off Android Auto.
  15. I was reading that some silica gel can sort out the rattling doors. My car has a water leak in the rain so I'm starting to think this windscreen noise is related. Sorry OP for changing the subject, I'll stop now!
  16. Do you get any other issues in the cold? Just lately my windscreen has been making these cracking noises while heating after being left out in the cold. It's like the glass is expanding or maybe the seals.
  17. I'm in Northern Sweden and last winter the previous owner had the adblue lines freezing at about -20 and had to get them replaced. It's been ok this winter but I am parking in a heated garage overnight.
  18. First time this happened to me I found a heap of pocket fluff inside the phone connection. A dug most of it out and blew the rest out with air in a can. The second time it was just my cheap cable giving up, probably damaged from forcing it into the fluffy connector.
  19. I’ve got the 125. Its the first one I’ve owned so hard for me to compare to anything. I was hoping I could wash the car handsfree but I’ve noticed I still need to use a sponge on the lower parts to get the dirt off. Maybe I should have got something stronger that would do my decking too but it could be risk for car paint. Just need to find a better hose now. The plastic one that comes with it is terrible for kinks.
  20. Not just apple. I had a combination of fluff and a bad cable connector that was causing my Samsung to disconnect when going over bumps.
  21. Mine is set to early and people are still flashing me. I think it's partly that I'm driving in snow covered forests and people don't expect all the trees to be lit up around them. They may not actually be getting dazzled but they think they are.
  22. My 2017 model (late 2016 manufacture) had a recall to fix faulty software for this so check this doesn't apply to you.
  23. Yep. I try and get as much snow off the front of it before taking off. I had your problem a few weeks ago and it was deactivating my ACC. It was ok after the snow blew off. I had some freezing rain today so the whole car was coated with half a centimetre of ice. That didn't seem to bother it though.
  24. I tried keep it on all the time but too many people were flashing me. Hard to say if they were actually blinded or if they were just confused by everything else light up around them. Agree with the above poster that the lights dip too late for oncoming traffic as I could often see my lights above their roof instead of below their windscreen.
